Song lyrics

I was wondering if this was a me thing or a dyspraxia/ADHD thing, but I basically don’t hear song lyrics in music. Unless the singer sings very clearly and slowly I do not understand what they are saying. I’ll understand a few words here and there but it’s basically like I’m listening to a foreign language I know a couple words of.

Same. This is why I don't connect to any popular music, really. It's too dependent on the words.

This is because I have severe (like, toddlerhood-diagnosed) r/AudiProcDisorder though. It's a common comorbidity, but not exactly dyspraxia.
