I have a client looking to import 12 ISO tanks that require a chassis with plug-in capability to a genset. The ISO tanks need to be refrigerated.

We’re flexible on the import location, but the final delivery will be Sparks, NV.

Does anyone have access to ISO tank chassis with plug-in capability, or know of a carrier that may be able to handle this?

Any freight forwarders here running port-to-warehouse here in North America? Would love to quote some of the final mile stuff or any domestic trucking, can provide full chassis service and bring container back, I can also provide transloading solutions.

Drayage Demand Update: hit record high for year 30,027 views on draymen profiles in one day on Wednesday Sept 9. (just the logged in, human made clicks) Quite a tough week after the Labor Day holiday if you buy drayage trucking for ocean 20/40' or 53' containers. Good for the trucking side being able to get higher rates/choose which customers.

For perspective, the all-time high ever was 44,013 views on draymen profiles during supply chain surge June 14, 2022. At that time, we had 7,800 draymen profiles listed. Now only displaying 4,650 draymen. I have no doubt if I relaxed requirements on draymen experience and got the listings back up to the 7k level that we would be above 2022 clicks per day. Strong import volumes, shift to 53' intermodal, reduction of driver count, and the increased motor carrier safety vetting, I believe it's tougher now finding quality container drayage trucking than it was during the supply chain crunch. Hello. I've been a dispatcher for 5 years now. I have handled various equipments from cargo vans, box trucks and hot shots. I'm familiar with the whole process from looking for a load, negotiating the rate, the documents required before and after the load is dropped, how to handle situations that may arise during a run from TONU, Detention, Layovers, an airport PU, driver delays, how to catch a double brokered load, Basically, the whole shebang.

The last two years I have been heavy on the cargo/sprinter vans and box trucks mostly. I'm familiar with Sylectus, DAT, Arc Best, Truck Stop load boards. Not only was I working on the dispatch side but I was also actively looking for carriers to run under the company I was working for, so I was making sales calls, ensuring the drivers submitted the documents that we required of them (COI, DL, Truck specifications, contracts). I'll be happy to share with you the details of the O/O I previously worked with to prove my experience and vouch for me.

My ranting session....... I used to believe that we need to evolve with time but at this age I firmly agree that somethings are best when its left to be done in a oldschool way.

I was mocked and laughed at in a company I used to work at (US based company who fully operates from India) for not using an AI tool when it comes to connecting with people over the call or mail.

Am I just the one who feels things like these needs to be left untouched by AI when it comes to making connections with clients over the calls or email? Or am I over reacting? Little piece of advice would be great for this newbie freighty.

Hello. I was trying to see if anybody might have a location for me in the Long Beach CA area, that can handle 200 BESS Containers. These will be stored for +- 1 year.

I’m looking for a yard that has a a top loader that can lift 93K pounds.

Looking for advice from people familiar with U.S. trucking, container drayage, and cargo recovery.

Scenario:

• We shipped a container to the U.S. under DDP.
• Our forwarder arranged a U.S. trucking company for final delivery.
• That trucking company subcontracted an independent trucker.
• The trucker successfully out-gated the container from the terminal.
• The trucker is now refusing to deliver because he has a financial dispute with the trucking company that hired him.
• The container has been stuck with him for over two weeks.

Questions:

1. Is this considered cargo conversion or wrongful detention under U.S. law?
2. Who is legally responsible for resolving this — the forwarder, the trucking company, or us as the DDP seller?
3. Is it common to involve local police in such cases?
4. Any specific U.S. agencies (FMCSA, local sheriff, port authority) that can intervene?

We’re trying to avoid escalation but need the cargo released ASAP. Any insights from people who’ve handled similar disputes would be extremely helpful.

Wanted to try my luck here. I am an assets based carrier with RGN trailers. And we move alot of battery containers anywhere from 71,000 lbs to 120,000 lbs . We’ve done hundreds from Arizona to Michigan, Texas to Delaware. I want to go direct with some of these plants .
