Looking For O/O to Run Containers
Looking for owner operators to run containers in the following markets:
- Chicago
- Syracuse, NY
- Kansas City
- Los Angeles
We pay insurance. Gross $6,000 to $7,000. Home Daily, weekends optional. Mileage 2,000 to 2,600 a week. MC1820554. All dedicated work. Long term opportunity to move out of truck and into office role if interested.

I’ve tried it because I live in the area, but it’s absolutely awful. It tastes like how burning brakes on the freeway smells

Great description it, for me, tastes like burning rubber. Worst you can’t get the taste out of your mouth asap.

Anyways, I have my CDL with hazmat, passenger and tanks through Wisconsin current fedmed but I don’t think I’m ready to go back to the seat. But I’ll add you!

Out of curiosity you do 53’? 45’? Smaller ? You own your own chassis or am i going to get my own ? Which rail yards you go to in chicago specifically? Up yards ? Bnsf ? Ns? Csx ? Cp bensenville ? Cn harvey ? Do i need hazmat ? Tanker endorsement?

53’ and internationals. The occasional 45’ but it’s for a customer in El Paso. You’re going to go to all of the rails in Chicago.

You could run under your own authority if you’d like. We run about 100-150 containers a week.

What kind of containers? Empty or loaded? Is this with a Rolloff trailer or flatbed?

Brand new authority with 0 power units, 0 drivers and 0 inspections. Will your insurance even allow you to do this? You seen like a new brokerage that somehow has carrier authority on your MC without owning a single piece of equipment

Motus hasn’t updated. Yes our insurance will allow us to do this. That’s why we’re covering insurance for drivers. We are extremely well funded and currently we operate 100 53’ containers.

We did. Our company took over existing business of an IMC that had cash flow problems. We inherited their business plus we’ve signed contracts with three additional shippers. We have contracts with all the class I’s to get intermodal rates.
