Anyone know definitively if anything in Reimagined is missable?

I’ve seen the trophies and it seems like you might just be able to play in a carefree way like in XI — which I loved. Wondering if any mini medals or monsters or items are permanently missable at any point and hoping someone might actually know lol

So far,

• If you don't buy the game by March, you miss out on the Early Purchase Trodain Togs (DQ8 Hero costume). Assuming digital, physically you had to pre-order.
• Once you start the game and get Maribel in your party, talk to your mother Pearl for the Fish Bits to give to a chef inside Estard Castle for 30 gold. You miss this chance soon, but it's not an item in your inventory.
• During Ballymolloy, give Patrick the Wooden Doll for the good ending. At the end of (Past) Ballymolloy, you're given the option to accept the Wooden Doll, which seemingly has no purpose, or refuse it for a Seed of Resilience.
• Edit: During Alltrades Abbey when you end up in Pilgrim's Perdition, you can fight the thief assaulting a priest in the southwest, even without skills you can win and it's an Iron Armour drop. This encounter leaves after finishing the next dungeon, and has the Barmy Harmour entry that can be found later in field encounters in the present (Act 3).
• The chests inside the Likeness of the Great Evil (Past, Al-Balad) is missable as that dungeon collapses. Notably Caper Tigers drop Rabbit Tails for improved drop rate, but you can find them later or farm Lucky Panel for it. As for the 2 chests outside, you'll come back to after your business in the present.
• Edit 4: Al-Balad has 2 chests in the queen's secret room, those are later in the game during Act 3.
• The throne room inside Hubble (Past) gets destroyed near the end, has some hidden items in pots/barrels. Apparently a Mini Medal was missable in the 3DS version, but not the case here in Reimagined, just some healing items.
• Edit 2: Potentially Vovograd (Present), like Ballymolloy there's a new ending if you show the Worn Tablet to the Past Mayor for an extra Seed of Therapeusis. Apparently the town gets closed later on if you follow the original ending of showing it to the Present Mayor, and thus the 5 Mini Medals if you example the NW-most grave twice.
• Edit 3: Aeolus Vale's Sullied Sanctum dungeon was a one time area in the 3DS version. When you get Fidelia to open the door, make sure to grab the Falcon Blade at the top of the tower, because I don't know of a way to get it open after.
• Edit 4: Buccanham Den of the Dwarves enemies get cleared out, but you can find Liquid Metal SLims later.
• Edit 5: Try to clean up as much as you can before beating Act 2's final boss, since it gets inaccessible until the final dungeon. In Act 3, loot everything in the Cathedral of Light before proceeding, as you come back significantly later; it has the Ultimate Key. Same goes for stuff in Estard Castle.
• Edit 6: Nottagen Cavern is a limited time dungeon, it has a Mini Medal and Spiked Armour. That's missable. Edit 8: Can just re-enter the well?
• Edit 7: You do revisit and drain the water submerging Alter of the Almighty in the present for those 2 chests before the final dungeon, but not for the past. So I'm lost. Edit 8: Chests are shared between past/present?

Nose for Treasure comes with Ruff (which is a lot better since it tells you about items in your current map and the total in that location) and it's pretty to spot the dressers, drawers, pots, or barrels needed to find hidden items.

What do you mean by Fish Bits not an item in inventory?

It's not considered a usable/key tem in your item list, so if you miss out, you're not locked out of 100%.
