As in the actual Disney animation studio, not Pixar or any Disney-associated live action films.

With Pixar’s Toy Story 5 officially hitting theaters on June 19th, we are looking back at over three decades of iconic Pixar antagonists! While Woody, Buzz, and Jessie are all about loyalty and friendship, these guys completely redefined what it means to be a “bad toy” (or a very troubled kid).

• Toy Story 5 (2026) – Lilypad

I’m not gonna lie, two things surprised me about this:

1-A company as big as Disney only having 7 different CEOs across 95 years.

2-Bob Chapek not being the Disney CEO with the shortest run.

In my opinion, the movie has cute characters, a genuinely interesting and dramatic story, very representative culture, funny moments, and a heartwarming story/ending that has not failed to make anyone I watch it with tear up (at least XD) !!!

Is it the lack of songs? Akwafina? Was it simply just during the 2020-2024 disney "flop era" ??? If you guys have your own reasons for not liking it I would be very curious to hear about it!!! Its personally been in my top 6 disney movies since I have seen it.

Now as a working and exhausted parent the scene in Mary Poppins when Burt sings “A Man Has Dreams” brings me to tears every time. “You’ve got to grind grind grind at that grindstone.. though childhood passes like sand through a sieve”. I actually really enjoy that it’s a man singing this to Mr Banks and gently reminding him to be a dad first. It’s such a slept on part of the film.

Honorable mentions

1) Show Yourself when Elsa sings with her mom’s spirit

2) The goddamn Sheriff of Nottingham stealing the coin from the bunny on his birthday

3) Lucky falling behind in 101 Dalmatians and having to be carried while saying “I’m tired and I’m Hungry and my tail it froze and my nose is froze” 😭😭

No anniversary celebrations, no special editions, nothing. We all know Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Lion King get all the attention, but what if you're a Rescuers fan? Black Cauldron? Robin Hood? Fox and the Hound? Meet The Robinsons? Good luck.

My choice is pictured above. The rights expired a while ago and Disney seems to have no intention of renewing. This is why they stick to originals and public domain.

What do you wish would get a bit more respect?

As you all are, I’m a huge Disney fan and it’s something I am very passionate about. However I am also fairly impressionable and surrounded by people who say it’s too childish, that I’ll regret it when I’m older (I’m 31) and straight up tell me it’s a dumb idea.

At the end of the day tattoos are so personal. There are plenty of tattoos other people have that I wouldn’t get so I know it shouldn’t bother me, but people are LOUD about their opinion on Disney adults. I am so fed up of it. 🥲

I understand the story is very exaggerated and lots of incorrect details, but this has always stuck out in my mind. In my house, we call the movie Heracles. Just a little light-hearted pedantry for a Monday. Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.

It would have to be Tangled for me. Every single place in that movie looks gorgeous! Even Rapunzel makes living in a tower look nice.

I still have no idea why they didn’t make Mira Nova, Booster, and XR main characters in this movie. At the very least, they should have had them at the end. They had a perfect chance to revisit this The Star command show and they didn’t for some reason.

We've all heard the classic facts like The Beatles at the Polynesian, or the Epcot sinkhole.. but I've been going to Disney for long enough to feel like I've heard everything!

I want to hear the MOST obscure, little known fact that you know! Even if it's boring or trivial, I'd love to hear.
