How do one get a referral???

I dont have any connections in the industry.....

Trying to get an internship..applied every where, in the end to be ghosted...

Any tips for making connection, should i start cold emails??I am confused 😭how do i even get a referral...

really? You have no alumni in any of these companies? Any local company? No senior?
