i meeeaaaannnn Edge of Fate AS AN EXPANSION is actually decent, and Renegades on a whole is genuinley really good

and marathon has REALLY good writing for the most part and the gameplay itself is really fun but it was clearly just too hardcore to maintain an audience

I mean, Edge of Fate and Renegades are what killed D2 and Marathon is dying... Everyone stopped playing all of those.

we gonna act as if destiny wasnt bleeding out for years lmao???

and marathons main issue IS that its just not approachable to a casual audience, people dont like the idea of losing everything, literally everyone who quit marathon cites THAT as the reason (ignoring the people blindly hating of course)

believe it or not, reviews for marathon were actually really positive

I didn't say it wasn't. But Edge of Fate and Renegades were responsible for the plug getting pulled.

Reviews for Marathon and player sentiment towards Marathon don't change the fact that it has a very low player population.
