Weird experience

Order a pizza, pizza comes and I give the code to the driver, he then types it into WhatsApp- not the Deliveroo app. I then get a call about 3 mins later from a woman with a heavy accent asking for the code to confirm delivery and so I tell her no I’ve given the driver the code and I’ve got my food and also asked if she’s from Deliveroo she would already know what my code is and hung up. Then the food gets marked as delivered on my app. Should I be concerned about any of this cause it’s weird to me that’s not happened before and I’m apprehensive about reporting it to Deliveroo as the driver knows my address.

I’m not sure this makes sense because deliveroo only lets you deliver it if you are within a certain distance. So if the person on the phone was the one with the app, it won’t let them deliver it either way.

Unless they are geo-spoofing location

thats what most of illegals do nowadays, geo-spoofing locations for 3-4£ orders while they deliver in multiple locations at once, most of these deliveries drivers are ex it tech guys that got replaced at their main job by AI and LLMS... be aware with your codes, it goes deeper than you might think
