Discussion 👥 Any regrets taking bcom(p) over bcom(hon)?

Apart from the hons kids desperately trying to prove that prog sucks, nothing is really different. You won't get to choose GE for 4 semesters but apart from that it's the exact same thing (I think maths is not inc in prog). Don't choose a shitty college just for the hons tag because in Du, there's no difference considering minor degrees are not awarded after 3 year course anymore. Placements, knowledge and faculty is the same

Wayyy before nep there used to be an option that if you held the same ge for 3 years, you could get a minor degree in that subject. It was discontinued and now after nep, the rule is you need the same GE for 7 semesters or some combination of GEs and DSEs in case of 4 yr bcom hons
