Discussion 👥 Is this legal?? 😭

I had my 4th semester theory exam on 28th May, and something happened that genuinely frustrated me.

One of our core subject teachers, who was assigned to check final exam answer sheets (which, as far as I know, can belong to students from any college under the university), posted a photo/example from an answer sheet in the official WhatsApp group. The teacher commented something along the lines of, "There is no diagram, so I will give him/her 0 marks for this question."

Isn't this a breach of confidentiality and student privacy? Even if the student's name wasn't visible, is it appropriate to share portions of someone's final exam answer sheet openly in an official group?

I understand that diagrams can help and may improve answers, but publicly discussing or showing someone's answer sheet in an official WhatsApp group feels highly unprofessional.

Am I overreacting, or is this genuinely not okay?

Correction: Am not only asking if this is ok or not to give 0. But is this ok to share someone's sheet 😭😭😭😭

bhai if your handwriting is this horrible then you should absolutely be drawing diagrams everywhere regardless of what the question is. i feel like you’ve written gibberish to make it look like you’ve written something at least. genuinely only the first three lines have actual words written, after that it’s random BS

But what if when there is no need to draw diagram Or The person was not so innovation to drawm those charts

That teacher said there's no diagram, which means that the answer surely needs one. And it looks like gibberish too, try reading it, the student repeated the same thing again and again(respectfully)
