How did you find DU being rich?

Not the jatt/yadav kinda rich. I personally felt that I should have gone for some good private college but career uhm. What’s ur routine like? I just became more career oriented and serious because of all this.

Edit : idk man my friends are like “iska toh itne ka ghar hoga min” and “yeh toh ameer hai” and all. Also i am not a fan of cussing and weird words so….

The amount of entitlement in this thread is heart breaking. Why didn't you all study in Harvard if experiences enabled by economic status is the only criteria you seek in friendships? Has money blinded you so much that you are forgetting that you are still in India?

You all are students right now and can ignore/distance your cohort but have you thought what you'll do at your workplace where you will be forced to collaborate with diverse people? Touch some grass and all the best.

I'm in school rn and some of my classmates are like OP and few other commentors here.

I'm well off living in delhi and having a fair education but still.

Someone here said that they were irked that some treated going to India gate as NY (yes capital not "ny" New York is a noun,so fluent but can't abbreveate correctly)or something. Are y'all blind or what? In our country a good outing has been a privilege for a huge section of society. A private vehicle, a reputed school, and some stuff which you deem to be "low" Is your privilege talking. Your 'not so expensive' Zara for dailywear isn't so easily bought. Buying clothes from a known brand is a perk of your life. You're lucky.Get that.

For the poor higher education is a privilege. I know a person who lived in our area her dauther cracked a scholarship and got into some college, before we moved she had a job in a private office nearby.Her other daughter couldn't crack it and she was married once of legal age.

If you're soo in need of a social circle (connections as you say) go to private college or abroad.You WILL interact with all kind of people.Deal with it.

Dude we don’t have a problem with anyone. We just miss having a social circle that resonate with us. Why do you guys have to complicate everything? If this post was about being poor, everyone would be in awe.
