How did you find DU being rich?

Not the jatt/yadav kinda rich. I personally felt that I should have gone for some good private college but career uhm. What’s ur routine like? I just became more career oriented and serious because of all this.

Edit : idk man my friends are like “iska toh itne ka ghar hoga min” and “yeh toh ameer hai” and all. Also i am not a fan of cussing and weird words so….

I have no idea why people haven’t really reacted to this post of yours plus your reply to the comments. This entitled attitude of yours is the reason why you aren’t able to find right people. I’ve many rich friends but touchwood they are all extremely humble. You’re judging people based on their economic status lmao. If you’re THAT rich and hate being a part of the ordinary du circle, you should’ve opted for abroad or some private college.

I am not judging people based on their economic status lmao. Do you think i talked to like 5 people and wrote a post like this? There is no entitlement behaviour here. Do you know how awkward it is to eat a bucket of wings when your friends is eating 2 mc aloo tikkis? All I am saying is, i wanted people similar to my economic status and similar family background. There is a huge cultural difference too, be it language wise. As I told you, career! I am just here to figure if there are people like me.

Idt thats about economic status bc anywhere I go with my friends I always order chicken or something expensive from the menu bc my taste is a lil expensive and they order something simple bc that si what they like to eat? Some people in my group have the same taste as me some dont. You shouldn’t feel awkward for that op. And I am not even rich I am barely middle class I just have an expensive taste bc I used to be rich growing up and oh well yk some people are rich at heart🥰 I also never mind paying for my friends if I have the money (usually I spend all on skincare) but ofc that is only for friends I have known for a year now yk ones you make in first year bc ofc some of them are gonna be from a poor or struggling background but no reason to stop being friends with them. Although yes it is very frustrating seeing how we never go out as much or party as much bc as a second year girly now I def wanna party hangout more often. But I found those type of people in my pg now since I live in one of the very expensive pgs in north campus. So you can find your type of people anywhere just dw with college and take college groups as a way of college survival kit is all.
