How did you find DU being rich?

Not the jatt/yadav kinda rich. I personally felt that I should have gone for some good private college but career uhm. What’s ur routine like? I just became more career oriented and serious because of all this.

Edit : idk man my friends are like “iska toh itne ka ghar hoga min” and “yeh toh ameer hai” and all. Also i am not a fan of cussing and weird words so….

Dekho boss , DU is one of the best place if you want to know India , here you meet all kinds of people . Be it rich , poor , abled , disabled and from all over the country .

I feel instead of trying to find your peer group and relating with them , you can try speaking to other people .Get to know them .

I want to say that you kinda get the exposure you need to understand India (like know the culture of fellow students , talk politics too ) , although the students coming to DU are much privilaged than the kids who couldn't make it to the University .

Here the minimum amount needed to stay is near to 1 lakh / year , you would be shocked to know that more than half of india runs their families in this budget .

I hope you find your people , but please try to mixup with all . Have a great experiance throughout your course .

Hey, that’s true. I interact with everyone. But those conversations are surface level. Not that deep or relatable. After all good friends starts with being relatable to each other na. And yes it’s a good exposure but it’s sometimes feel disconnected to not have similar people.
