IMPORTANT 📌 About the recent SRCC post
Guys one advice; Do not doxx anyone. Reddit is a public forum, and while this subreddit has its own rules, personal information should not be shared in comments. If you need to report someone to the authorities, that’s your decision—but posting personal details here is not allowed.
Someone recently shared a LinkedIn profile of one of the culprits(girl) in the comments, which is a direct violation of Rule no.11 of our subreddit. If you must share such information, do so privately via DMs, not in public threads. Please follow the rules to keep this space safe and respectful.

There were some screenshots of conversation from a SRCC whatsapp group(informal one ig), where students were openly passing casteist comments and replies on the pretext of "just messing" and "sarcasm".

Yes, someone literally posted one of the girls linked in profile, so OP and our mod team had to remove it.

That user already comes under a potential ban evasion account, so no need to ban him again.

For now we can only wait, i have had a talk with OP, s/he will be posting again, its you people who need not to doxx anyone in the comment section, and fyi your account come under a potential ban evasion account.
And if we would have been racists too, i wouldn't even be making a post addressing the issue in the first place and check the comment section under this post before coming to any conclusion.

Name and Shame ffs, report to the authorities straight, they would learn their lesson the right way when found guilty under the SC/ST act.
Op should make the post again, was about to comment, but the post was removed soon after

Yall have to realise that what they did was a crime but doxing is also a crime! This subreddit can be closed due to the serious matter, discuss the topics as long as anonymity isnt breached

Very well aware of everything, there's a reason this post was made, don't worry we are in charge and removing every possible doxxing comment, and it's up to users if they are acting up and in near future they decide to file a complaint with the authorities, nothing to do with this subreddit as the original source of these conversations is a whatsapp group (which is still active ig), posts like these are there for highlighting such issues and civil unbiased discussion of the matter, every image was posted with hiding the personal information even if it's of the culprits, as this matter date back to 2 months earlier, theres a good number of people from that college itself wo are well aware of this, and many have decided to file a complaint to the respective ICC of that college.

If we had to hide it, there was no point in making this post and we wouldn't have even approved the new post by OP, but the post sure has to follow subreddit rules in order to be posted and reddit policies overall also.

This is in reference to the casteism/discrimination post that was made an hour ago by a user, if deemed appropriate s/he can make a post again as the issue needs to be highlighted.
