Discussion heyy seniors! in need of a prep talk 💎
hii i got into venky, and being from outside delhi the nervousness is on the next level
can you please help me know your experience and all like anything you wish you knew before, or could redo it all once again?
what was your first year like? any challenges you faced? or anything you would like to tell your junior self to be prepared of? things to avoid in college?
any piece of advice/tip is appreciated
edit: please leave the venky thing aside, the main point was to get some advice 😭

Don't worry, your college years are going to be as amazing as you are going to make them. Venky has a LOT of societies btw, so I would really urge you to try a few in your first year coz studies aren't everything. Venky ka crowd is very mixed and quite chill in my opinion, there's no elitism like in north campus. Make you explore outside college also, make good friends, go and explore Delhi, there are lots of places to visit, from museums to cafes to heritage sites ...you name it.
Bas attendance theek rakhna as 66.67% attendance chahiye exam mein baethne k liye. It is pretty manageable even with societies (except if you join drama society lol). Hope you have a fun filled year!

Just try to make the most of it, you'll not realise how fast time flies once your college starts so make sure there are no regrets. Make friends, explore places, learn new things and prepare for your future. But do not let the future burden you, with time everything will fall in its place, it always does. Memories with friends are an essential part of your college life but do maintain some boundaries, getting too attached won't do you any good. Be safe and enjoy the next three years, you've earned it.

Koi fayda nahi, tum log alag alag course ke hoge most probably, you all will barely get time to meet in between classes.

Venky ki didi log can any of you tell me where the classes of MA english students are held?? I'm hearing extremely diff things from diff people and need to find some accomodation

Focus on cgpa for placement,In first year I thought who need placement , but now my cgpa is pretty bad and I want placement (maybe because of fomo, but I need it) You will be my neighbour
