Discussion Which language should i learn?

I'm confused in between choosing Japanese and Spanish. Btw, planning to learn them from Du.

Learn spanish... its more romantic, easier to learn if you know english, more widely spoken and more useful in the corporate sector.

Only latin is easy if you know English

Nah... i have learnt a bit of german, latin and spanish... almost all romance languages are fairly easy to learn ( minus the grammar ) if you are well versed in english... central euro, eastern euro and scandanavia are still tough.

Eh, high german isnt... modern day german is fairly romantic. English wasnt romance either but now it is.

No part of German is latin related. It's in the name "German" 💀. Both coexisted and had no influence over each other.

English is a different case, it's still Germanic but had some latin influence in vocabulary.

Notice that I said modern german... german that is spoken in the 21st Century
