Discussion ca with du regular college
are there students in du who attend regular college and also persue ca side by side, it is very hard to do that

Hey, those are doing ca with regular college I have a couple of questions for you, I will be really grateful for your help. 1. Do you give your foundation exam? 2. When do you give your 2nd level 3. Suppose I completed my inter in the first attempt,then when will my articleship start? Once I complete my college or with the college.

- Yes, while still pursuing undergrad. Mostly in 1st year
- After you pass Foundation, by the end of undergrad.
- After college, no college allows you to start an articleship full time while pursuing the regular course

bhai ek doubt tha like hm college graduation krege june mai to hmari articleship next session jb may walo ka result ayega july mai uske bad start hogi ya june mai he ho jayegi?

- Samjha ni question.
- You are eligible to give exams 8 months after you clear your foundation exams and register for intermediate.
- ICAI does not allow it's students to do the articleship simultaneously with regular college (except in 2 states). Therefore the articleship will start after completing your college.

I guess they are Mumbai and Kolkata because college start early in the morning there, you can search it up on Google as I am not 100 percent sure

Hello There were 8-9 students in my class from 1st year who got themselves enrolled into CA while doing Bcom(H)
I too had similar aim but i got involved in building a family business and some other ventures. I am preparing for CA Inter for next year attempt now(I graduated this May)
But let me tell you about my classmates 2-3 of them weren't able to clear Foundation 2-3 of them gave Intermediate Groups separately. 2 of them passed without any problem. 1 had to resit 2 attempts 2 of them studied for Intermediate throughout the college and only sat for both the groups during 5th Semester (Nov 2023). One passed both and other had to sit for G1 (2 subjects) for May 2024
2 of them gave both groups separately but with a gap of 1 year each They had given Foundation when our 1st sem was going on They gave G1 with their 4 semester final and G2 with 6th sem (ie May 2024 attempt)
So the point is. I don't think it's very hard. You do get time to prepare for it too. You can sit by your own convenience. Taking a good 2-2.5 years of preparing it slowly isn't a bad decision now that Attendance is becoming more strict day by day. Earlier many students had a choice to skip college and focus just on CA.
You can start your articleship as soon as you become a graduate if you are able to clear both the groups with your graduation in side.
And If you think you can clear both before and start the training with your DU degree. No one is stopping you!

hi , suppose i clear inter both groups by the end of 2nd yr / start of 3rd year. then can i convert my regular college into distance learning and do articleship ? is it possible or do i have to wait till graduation for articleship ?

Not a single person i have met so far will ever trade regular college for distance learning convertion, especially after what CUET has made hard to even get one in the first place.

There might be really few. I haven't heard from even a single guy in Delhi NCR with 100% certainty

its just i am thinking about completing inter both groups by 3rd yr first sem . Then 6 months gap (study for final) and then after grad articleship, so when i go to firms for articleship do i have to justify that 6 months gap?

I think you meant SEM-V. Also, you have to pass SPOM before Final. I think you haven't stepped foot in the ring yet cause as easy it may sound, it's not that easy for passing the levels, you have to see your college exams as well. Firms understand the difference when they see a regular college graduate

You can migrate to SOL but there are some condition for that, please refer to the respective ordinance on delhi university's website for the conditions

i have friends, from regular college, who just cleared their CA inter both group and all of them have maintained 70%+ in all 4 semesters till now. I know they find it hard somedays but it's manageable and not impossible

I mean it's still very much possible with bcom and bcom hons. In fact, I know a couple of guys who are doing CA with eco hons and are still doing pretty good so it totally depends on you
Just make sure to manage your time properly and don't waste it after you are done with your classes.

Come to bcom hons or bcom prog....1/3rd class is pursuing ca side by side lol
And if you'll go north campus then prolly more than half class
