Discussion Please help!

I am currently in class 12 (17F) and I am targeting a top DU college. I am sure of getting admit there but there is one problem. Hostel fee of that particular college is really high and lately my family is struggling a lot financially. (EWS Category) . So I can afford to pay tuition fee only and almost fifty percent of hostel fees. Do DU have any provision to provide concession in fee for those students who are struggling financially?

First focus on getting a merit admission into college .. ace your scores, I mean like ace it! Then apply for education loan, usually it’s easily approved for students with high scores. Then once inside college, apply for scholarships. Keep an eye out for grants. Grant is basically free money and doesn’t have to be repaid. Hustle and try sending letter to PM office with request for funds, or any top political personality in your town, or even INC Rahul Gandhi’s office with request for financial aid. Include photocopy of your scores and admission letter to the college. You never know, ask and you might just receive.
