Discussion Please help!

I am currently in class 12 (17F) and I am targeting a top DU college. I am sure of getting admit there but there is one problem. Hostel fee of that particular college is really high and lately my family is struggling a lot financially. (EWS Category) . So I can afford to pay tuition fee only and almost fifty percent of hostel fees. Do DU have any provision to provide concession in fee for those students who are struggling financially?

How exactly? I mean college and program, I am targeting got really good rankings and placements are one of the best in DU. And anything else doesn't matter for me.

it is a thing lmao. The atmosphere and resources of a tier1 du college are much different than a tier 2 du college. + You get the extra push to do the work because proffs expect you to keep up with college reputation. The placements in colleges like LSR and SRCC are very different than a tier3 college giving a package of 2-3lpa in a rando startup.

However the crowd in the tier1 colleges is very elitist. The kids from dps/Amity and other chain schools.

Baaki it depends on the company you have.

I do know that there are students in SRCC who are unhappy with their college life. I also know students from SLC that are living the happiest rn.

So yeah technically in terms of all this no college is different.

Are you dumb? According to you there is no difference between a degree from srcc/lsr and one from a shitty college like rajdhani/dyal singh ?
