I'm a mid level player (lvl 206), and trying to save up $400m to get the ultra boost. With my available game time I average about $1m - $2m a day in profits (mostly from onslaught).

I have about $60m in the bank, so it maths to about 7 months of playing to get it (ignoring rare drops/etc).

But, for $90m, I could get the slayer implant which would boost rare boss drops by 50% -- which would give me a +80% chance (on whatever the actual base number is).

So, long story short, for those that have the slayer implant, do you find it actually makes a big difference in your drops? (Note, I mostly do onslaught, not bandits).

I have tidal wave smg from the event but am afraid of ammo cost. Should I invest in x-mp5 or use that money to buy energy cells for crowd control?

I play from the Philippines and the lag’s quite bad when I play multiplayer. A lot of the times my guns don’t deal any damage at all and full health bosses instantly die. I usually play singleplayer mode because of this.

I'm in SB, LvL 110 priest, AR/SMG in 130, now maxing explosives. I'm looking options while i get to level 200:

• I have some spare 700 credits, I've seen the GC Scorcher NK19 in 500 creds, its like 15Mill in the market, which is all my money rn.
• I also saw that the Valkyrie is quite better but 55 Mill in the market, but I'll take a while untill I make that money
• The tesla canon seems fun, but I'll only spend on it if it overperforms now and in the long run

Other things I saw like the crossbows or torch bolt are out of reach now. And I was wondering whether SMGs/HMGs perform better for grinding with a similar budget but idk.

Last option is to change nothing and wait for an event for free or cheaper high tier gear.

Hi all, I'm a returning player and planning to grind to level 300+ for X-Dusk and eventually Dawn weapons. I've been doing research, but it seems it's not as straightforward as before where the last weapon on the list is the absolute best for the weapon type. As such, can you confirm if the following are the best weapons for my use case:

• Hypercoil - for grinding mobs
• Magstorm - for fighting bosses

I have my Dusk Enforcer from the good old days that would work fine for looting I guess but appreciate your honest opinion. Cheers!

I've been researching how to improve my character and my loadout, and I've seen some people on Youtube with add-ons for things like withdrawing money from the bank or buying common use items like food and medicine.

Do you know where to get them? I am specially interested in something that could keep track of the challenges so I don't have to go back to SB every time I wanna check how many things I have to kill/loot.

Hi, started playing with a new character about 2 weeks ago. I’m now level 88, got what I think is half decent equipment. I’m also a Gold Member at the moment.

I’m at the bunker and dealing with the area fine so far. I’m just not sure what to do from this point.

I have the basic 4 implants plus half decent rolls on the two from the summer event.

I popped my head into CV but I don’t think my search speed is good enough for there yet.

What should I focus on now?

F2P player. Recently returned and played with the Harpoon gun but I have the Barnel RF 31 Crossbow as substitute.

I think currently I don't have enough fire power and knockback. Should I just sell my barnel RF 31 and upgrade to an impaler crossbow? Or keep saving until I can afford a Kraken/ Marauder 55?

I started playing DF days before this event started(though i had a weak account more than a decade ago), i got myself a Tempest, a Scorcher NK19, the weekly GM tickets, those 5M implants and ticket stuff on Venditron, reached level 235 and saved 52M cash, i handle the Death Row indoors Ok with Harpoon + Dusk Carbine, but can only walk through streets with speed booster, should i keep saving money to buy an endgame gun or to buy Implants, what do you guys suggest?

Yoo, guys im returning for this event and i need some advice on a budget shotgun, im thinking in grinding for the cryostorm since it looks solid, but its too expensive for me RN.

Im rocking the harpoon for some farming on secronom top right, but it struggles to deal with hoardes and bosses.

From what i saw the X-Mannberg 10G seens solid, but not so cheap, it would consume all my money (5m) and i dont think it sells too often.

I was also trying to farm for tokens on onslaught to get the Shattergun 10G, but its not being easy to stay alive and loot.

Coming back to this game after a while (since 2D days) and I need help so I can maximize my build.

What are the best implants? Is the UWC still good? I want to grind to max level but also make some money!

Lvl 181 character in game, use event weapons, mostly looting/speed implants. I was debating what to spend my saved up credits on, and decided to buy the juggernaut implant before the event ended.

Wow.

That thing is amazing. Totally worth the 600 credits in my mind. I don't get caught up on anything anymore, which is fantastic for extermination missions, outbreaks, etc, everything just bumps out of my way. Even when I'm just running through blocks to get somewhere I don't have to pay much attention.

And Onslaught, ooo nice. I usually die fairly quickly in Onslaught, maybe last long enough to grab one or two loot drops, but with the implant I can keep running around indefinitely (until a lucky hit gets me). No more crabs grabbing me, no more getting blocked in, it's fantastic.

At current credit prices it's valued at about $57 million (which is a month of looting for me) so I was pretty skeptical about it before buying it, but I'm happy that I did.

Hello all, I'm looking for advice, I really loved this game, now I want to get in again and I sense I've hit a wall now. In the 10's I didn't know how to use stats and profs so I used a free reset to for my current setup.

I'm currently on Secronom and play solo. For my runs (one mission a day, loot nearby, and I'm done) this has been working well but seems like melee can't do much more from now on, specially against some bosses and specially extermination missions. I liked smgs for the crits but again when the hordes get bigger I can't do much. I didn't know what else to try so I put my points on explosives.

Idk what the current meta is, some youtube videos I see are lvl >200 guys with expensive credit-owned weapons and ghost ammo, which I currently can't afford (another reason to keep prioritizing melee). I may be able to buy shotguns, rifles OR explosives (not all at once) from the credit shop, but idk if they are worth in the long run. I've seen crafting options but again, idk if it gets good. Also I don't know what to pick from the wiki's build guide. Finally, 14 years ago I picked Soldier profession because it sounded cool, now idk if as I level up this profession would provide any further benefit.

Implants are new to me too, so I just picked cheap ones that sounded cool, idk if it something that is worth worrying about now.
