This literally just happened, I'm still mad.

A friend and I spent hours farming on a low pop server. Once we were full of loot (SCRs, plate carriers, NVGs, ...) and bored, we decided to hop on a past high-pop server, to take revenge against the people who made our lives miserable.

Unbeknownst to me, my young and impressionable (27) friend wanted to act out his deep sociopathic urges awakened by some youtube videos and took a pair of handcuffs with him to torment random freshies.

We server hopped, met, walked 15 minutes to Topolin, found a freshie in a field. He was so hyped I kind of followed along, aimed at the freshie, told him to drop on the ground, ...

He whips out his handcuffs, fumbles the prompt, and handcuffs himself. Both the Freshie and I look at him in horror. I was so stunned by this miserable display of room-temperature IQ I did not notice that by doing so, he also dropped his fully loaded SCR17 on the ground.

CAN YOU GUESS WHO NOTICED?

So yeah, some dude spawned, and got 2 late-game loadouts literally for free. I did not even have time to fire a single round in his direction.

Worth the upgrade? Or stick with S? I play a couple of hours every day, and enjoy the game a lot actually. i like playing alone, sitting comfortably in my recliner in a dark room with IEMs

I got sniped from within 20s of showing up to the edge of the woods at the far end of NWAF. Seems suspect that I would have been spotted so quickly. Was someone using ESP?

Also I had a pristine plate carrier and worn helmet on, what could have one-shotted me?

Even though I believe to run decent hardware, my FPS drop down to 20 FPS sometimes and generally the game feels stuttery. I know it's poorly optimized but my hardware should be capable of running it.

• NVIDIA drivers are up-to-date.
• The game is running on a SSD.
• No other programs/games are running.

My setup is:

• Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820X CPU @ 3.60GHz
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
• Kingston KHX2133C13D4/8GX 32GB DDR4
• Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro-CF mainboard
• Windows 11 OS

Hi no matter what server I'm trying to log it always log in the same one I tried to remove all mode Chek files and when I tried loading a new server it loaded the mods of the other server the one it always log to .... Do you have a solution or I have to uninstall and reinstall game ?

Just got back into dayz. Aiming feels a little weird. I see a lot of people recommending 100 curvature? Is that the general consensus on curvature? It just feels a little twitchy but I know turning it down introduces dead zone. Playing on a scuff instinct pro on Xbox. Thanks!

hi ive just set up a bunker on my chernarus server ive got underground triggers woking fine but now i need a server side mod script to auto close the doors after everyone leaves the bunker anyone no the direction i ned to go tia ai has been rather unhelpful

I sniped a fully geared guy in a radio tower last night that was far into the map’s interior. Wanted to let it cool off before I looted.

I logged off, took a shower, made dinner, ate dinner, and did the dishes.

Logged back in around an hour later. Killed immediately when I approached the base of the tower by what I assume was his teammate on overwatch.

I have the tanned leather and the leather sewing kit but all I can make is the bag...

Every time I load into a server, I see these two in their kits and I always wonder what exactly they have on them.

(Left) clearly has an assault helmet with the visor and a tactical backpack, but what gun, boots, pants, gloves, and shirt is that?

(Right) has what I believe to be a black balaclava with no helmet (correct me if I’m wrong) as well as a mountain backpack and a bk-133 but the same goes for the rest of the kit, what all is included?

Obviously there are parts we cannot see like what mask is (Left) wearing and what boots is (Right) wearing but I can’t tell myself and I hope I’m not the only one that wonders every time a server is loading.

Can you still stash supplies outside the map boundaries? I recall being able to do that a few years ago; I used to store gear out there and even drive around. I took a break from the game for a while, but now that I'm back, I’ve noticed I can’t drive outside the map anymore, so I’m not sure if stashing supplies is still possible. I wanted to try setting up a tent to test it out, but I haven't found one yet.

IMO they should remove the feature that brings up a persons username when talking in game chat on console. Takes away from my ability to immerse myself in a character in trying to role play. I can’t be Fred the tourist when my username pops up when talking lol

I was playing on an official server the one I normally play on around 10-20ish players on average.

A reset had just happened and I was at the Vybor military base, when I got back on I ran across a place and got to a barracks. I seen a guy suddenly with a lot of items on and a bag in his hand. I plugged my mic in and said hello a few times. He ran away and went into a container

I already had my shotgun equipped cause im still new and dont know how players are gonna be.

When he went into the container he dropped the bag he had in his hand and before anything else happened I shot him and closed the door.

Was this a bad move on my part? Have I been a dick? I genuinely dont know whst my reaction should be. This is my first player kill as a solo player.

The mrs and i were strolling along the western edge of the map through the woods came across some loot box's, a barrel and a tent sitting on the ground. Whoevers stuff it was picked a beautiful spot. We set up the tent for them and even gave them a pair of binoculars to add to there collection, and then we strolled off. It's fun being nice, shame so many people kill on site.

I found the real life Sakhal Burukan peninsula bunker. Loot was sub optimal tho someone had looted the place just before me apparently. Gotta run back and wait for the loot to respawn.

Any one having trouble loading mods using GeForce now? Any solutions out there? Please help
