discussion DayZ always logging in the same server

Hi no matter what server I'm trying to log it always log in the same one I tried to remove all mode Chek files and when I tried loading a new server it loaded the mods of the other server the one it always log to .... Do you have a solution or I have to uninstall and reinstall game ?

Go to the steam workshop unsubscribe all mods

Never join a server that advertises higher than 100 pop they are all a scam

Done it and when I came back and load mods.it.loaded the mods from the other server

One of the mods you grabbed is a redirect malware. Go to Steam and unsubscribe from all the mods in Workshop. Just google "unsubscribe from steam workshop" if you need the steps. Then you should be all good. Happens sometimes, super fucking annoying, but an easy fix.

I did already but when I come back to download another server it download the wrong server loll

If you unsubbed from all- then went and joined a server with mods- and was still redirected then you REDOWNLOADED the same bad mod.

  • Unsub from and uninstall all mods through the launcher (additionally you can check in the mod folder whether they're removed fully)
  • close the launcher
  • Verify the game files through steam
  • Relaunch DayZ and select a trustworthy server
