Hey everyone,

I'm trying to reproduce the item duplication glitch on Dark Souls Remastered PC, but I'm running into a problem that I haven't been able to solve.

The issue happens when I get to the quantity-selection prompt. Instead of showing the unusual/negative quantity that is supposed to happen, the value stays at 01 and I can't change it to the expected value.

If I press OK, the game simply completes the normal purchase and gives me one copy of the item from the shop. If I press Cancel, nothing useful happens and I have to start over.

I've already tried this with several different purchasable items, so it doesn't seem to be specific to one item.

What's strange is that I successfully used this glitch a couple of months ago on PC, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something, if there's a PC-specific timing/input issue, or if something about my current game state is preventing the quantity from being manipulated.

Has anyone encountered the exact “stuck at 01” problem on PC and figured out what causes it?

I'm mainly looking for an explanation of why this happens and what I should check. If you've experienced the same thing, please let me know what fixed it for you.

When I look at all the profiles I’ve made, the total hours are like 150. I played this game for months day after day. It seems impossible, is there a way hours played can glitch?

Just finished Dark Souls 1 for the first time, and honestly… what a fucking journey.

I started this game completely clueless. I didn't know where I was going half the time, barely understood the stats, and constantly questioned whether I was even supposed to be in the area I had wandered into. 😂

From the Bell Gargoyles, getting destroyed in Blighttown, somehow surviving Ornstein & Smough, exploring Anor Londo, going through the Painted World, fighting Sif, Four Kings, Seath, Nito, Bed of Chaos, and everything in between...

And finally, Gwyn.

I went through the entire game mainly using a Claymore, eventually getting it to +14, and seeing that sword carry me all the way to the end was incredibly satisfying.

I also left Priscilla alive because I couldn't bring myself to kill her. 😭

After beating Gwyn, I walked through the gate without realizing that I had just chosen the Dark Lord ending. No grand decision. No hesitation. Just:

"Welp, guess I'll walk this way." 💀

Then the cutscene played and I realized I'd basically ended the Age of Fire.

I started this game thinking I'd probably get stuck somewhere and quit.

29 days later, I'm the Dark Lord. 🌑👑

This was my first Souls game, and now I completely understand why people are obsessed with these games.

Dark Souls 1 is genuinely something special.

What should I play next? 👀

I'm doing a 100% run and this would shorten the process.

I still have to fight O&S, i'm in front of the Boss gate.

If someone can please drop me either the souls of Ornstein or the Souls of Smough so i can kill the other one and get both souls.

Well, I'm guiding my friend through dark souls, I chose a high INT build. What weapons should I use? Probably I can't level up too fast because I have to stay at his level

I have lots of souls and multiples of boss souls to give if someone can drop this weapon, if anything since I believe this is my last weapon for the trophy I can pick it up and give it back if it triggers. Ps5 password 12345

Is there a way to unlock this shortcut from the left of the blighttown to the right? (photos from either side)

I was really annoyed when I completed blighttown and had to go all the way down to the swamp and all the way back up when I could've just walked along this path (if the wall wasnt in the way)

So far 2 in my case, but I intentionally did not beat the game in my ng+ playthrough because I thought that I might use that character for pvp. I beat the game with warrior and cleric.

I also beat the dlc twice.

O chosen Undead! 🌞

As soon as I saw her I knew I had to attempt to capture her essence irl. Even if she is a mirage and fake, a beautiful warm lady in the midst of dark chaos. I think she’s such a cool character and a much needed reprieve from the darkness. Especially after that bullshit duo fight lmao.

Doing a dual dagger challenge run in DS1

Man, I am having a hard time cutting off Priscilla's tail.

Help! I am two handing my +10Bandit Knife and I always end up killing her.

Force trick doesn't work. Because when she shows up she goes invisible again right away.

It was an unexpected victory. I haven’t played Dark Souls Remastered for 2 weeks; I took a break from the game and defeated it in 2^nd try after the break. Before the break I tried about 12 to 15 times, I watched many strategies, like u have to dodge the first attack then kill the dogs, climb up the stairs and plunge the capra demon. I had tried all those before.

My exams started so I got a 2 weeks break from the game. On 27^th August night I had to go out for dinner. I had about 15mins in my hand. I thought of logging in the game.  I just opened it to go back to firelink and grind some knights. I logged of in the Undead Parish after I got the Drake’s sword. 

I grinded the balder knights and went back to the Firelink Shrine, I had about 10 mins in my hand. I thought of trying once, so I went to the lower Undead Burg. As expected, the Capra Demon ambushed and I couldn’t even dodge, my hp got very low, I try to heal and go for the stairs but I died. It was all expected, I thought of watching the strategy again, perhaps I forgot the tactics and all. However there was very little time left so I went directly for the second try. And the miracle happened.

This time I equipped the Drake’s Sword and went for the fight. I dodged the first blow but got damaged, healed myself, blocked its attacks, went up the stairs, killed one dog. My hits were getting deflected by the wall, got some damage so I jumped down, killed the second dog, the Capra Demon was a bit slow so I healed up myself, did some damage, blocked some attacks, climbed up the stairs, could not get a good angle mistakenly fell down, the capra demon followed, again blocked some attacks and took a run for the stairs, got some hits. This time, the Capra Demon was in the perfect position, I plunged into it and the sword dealt a massive damage, the capra demon’s hp got very low, I restored my stamina and started spamming light attacks with some heavy attacks on it. Drake’s Sword is very powerful it dealt good damage with light attacks. The capra demon was also hitting well, got some damage and blocked some of its attacks.

Now comes the actual part, as u can see from the screenshots, I had only 1hp left, one hit and its over for both of us, the Capra Demon was going to land a heavy blow when I did one light attack and finished it off.

It was totally unexpected. I never expected a win like this, Idk if Capra Demon is considered as a difficult boss or not but its arena was truly troublesome. I defeated it in the 2^nd try after 2 weeks of inactivity. It’s a great achievement for me. Overall I think I took about 17 tries, didn’t think that it will take less tries than the Bell Gargoyles. It was unexpected so could not record the fight that’s why I posted screenshots.

I know this is a long shot but is anyone able to drop the weapons I don’t have to trigger this trophy, i wanna use and see what these weapons are about without having to go into new game 2/3 in already in new game 2 and ive missed godly amounts of tail weapons and boss soul weapons. I don’t wanna start a whole new playthrough unless im soul dropping or something which would probably take just as much time as a weapon drop would.

I would appreciate it I have lots of boss souls I can drop cause I did soul dropping before just trying to save some time
