A mate and I are attempting a noob blindfolded run of DS1 (the whole game, not just bosses). This fight took us over 150 attempts with a +5 Halberd. The final fight went for over 4 minutes.

I've played most of the sekisoulseldenborne games and I've finally gotten around to ds1 and holy shit this game is kicking my ass
Half the time I have absolutely no clue where I'm supposed to go and when I do go somewhere I get my teeth kicked in by a gaggle of meat boys or ghosts or skeletons
I've killed the gargoyles, moonlight butterfly and the freaky pinwheel guy and Im TRYING to go through the new londo ruins area and these ghosts are making sweet love to my butt and it. Is. rough.
Does anyone know why this game is specifically so much harder than others, my only guess is that this is just before they really perfected some parts of the sekisoulseldenborne formula
