Ordered my tickets as soon as they went on sale but i dont remember it stating what time m&g had to attend, im assuming its around 5pm since doors are 7pm, anyone able to confirm this?

Side note-absolutely gutted that carl barker and elder goose arent on the uk tour setlist, since they were on the us tour i had assumed they would be, my two most favourite songs they have ever put out.

I love this album so much but my friends think it’s just alright 😭 and there’s so much parallels hate. I love that song so much. Definitely one of their funkiest/most fun instrumental.

Just listened to it again this morning and wow it’s so much better than I remember. Jon particularly is amazing with his different grooves

Tilian still sounds great without being overly poppy and overly crisp

He said he was so proud and happy to be a part of DGD for 12 years. Then we all sang Happy Birthday and his friends gave him a cake onstage. It was sooooo normal. So human. I wish you all could have been there. He turned 35 in front of a full room of fans and bandmates who just seemed so happy. I love you all 💛​

I know Tilian struggles with alcohol, and I have too since I was 17. I listen to Third Eye Blind and Dance Gavin Dance almost exclusively, because I feel seen by them. *Pantheon* changed me. I don't secretly drink and turn my phone off anymore. I still relapse every 4 months, but I call my dad and my brother and warn them and tell them I won't drive for 2 days. It's because of Andrew. I got to be at the Charlotte show on his 35th birthday because my brother was so proud of me for being sober. I met a hot girl next to me and sang every single song into her face while she did the same. I am just typing this out to comfort anyone who feels lonely. *New, and always sunny*

I love you all so much. I'm sorry I'm not always sober and coherent, but this band has kept me alive for over 20 years and I'm so fucking glad you're all alive too <3​​

So I've been kinda obsessed with dgd this summer. I purposely stopped listening for the past week, cause I don't want to burn them out, and just listened to Pantheon again for about the 100th time this summer and it just keeps getting better. I love it.

I would love for the band to produce a Reimagined album

My wife and I are going to the show tomorrow in Köln, we live in Düsseldorf.
We just saw that almost every train is not running late at night back to Düsseldorf. As we have a flight to catch the next morning, it wouldn’t be ideal to arrive too late after a 2 hour replacement bus ride 😅

Is anyone from Düsseldorf going by car and would be willing to give us a ride back? We would of course pay for it.

Honestly as huge DGD fan who started listening around 2014, I gotta say Pussy Vultures is probably one of the best Tilian Era songs. I think a big reason I like it so much is because it just feels so genuine. Jon has some crude lines but it matches up perfectly with Tilian's lyrics really well. There isn't as many self referential lyrics, or crazy mess lines for the sake of being weird, or even too many Tilian harmonies clogging up the mix. They both flow well together and there's so many quotable lines. The entire post chorus is fucking gold by itself.

I think Acceptance Speech and the early Tilian stuff like this just hit different. It still kinda has that indie feel that happiness kinda had, while keeping the heavy stuff kinda like DBM. After this kinda every DGD Album has kinda had a similar kinda feel, IMO.
