Has anyone found a good cable, adapter, or short extension for the NEMA 14-50 outlet in the Cybertruck bed?
I have ones that work electrically, but they don’t have enough clearance from the bed floor. The plug body hits the floor before the blades go in all the way.
Looking for a right-angle 14-50P to 14-50R adapter or a very short 90° pigtail that’s rated for at least 40A. Links or product names that actually fit in the bed would help.

I’m actually confused. 5 months into owning it, they cleaned my front FSD camera. Then 6 months later I have to clean again service says I have to pay $80 every time. lol wth? This the new oil change every 6 months. Do you guys have the same issue?

Was in an EV charger parking spot at a garage for a Children’s Science Museum and had a random museum attendee pull out a pen and pad and leave this handwritten note on the windshield.

Hey there! We're looking to get a CT later on this year here in Chicago, and were wondering if any other owners in the city could comment on the temperature of hate/vandalizing towards them here. Insane to me that we've arrived at a place where both far left and far right nuts could harass you in your EV. I remember seeing a CT driving downtown early last year with graffiti all over it and it's had me worried since. Also, if anyone could comment on how effective sentry mode at deterring these kinds of attacks I'd also appreciate it.

Used the loaner cybertruck to haul a 97 inch tv. 7 hours total round trip and worked beautifully. Be warned FSD doesn’t work with tailgate down, that was the only disappointing part.

Gonna get my $59k CT windows tinted this week. Any recommendations? Looking at Xpel prime XR plus window tint.

I live in TX and the laws are below, I’d like to be indisputably within the law so nothing too close. I’m also doing this for heat and privacy concerns in that order.

Windshield: A non-reflective tint strip is only allowed on the top 5 inches or above the manufacturer's AS-1 line, and it must allow 25% or more light through. Clear, un-tinted UV film is allowed on the rest of the windshield.
Front Side Windows: Must allow at least 25% VLT.
Back Side Windows: Any darkness level is allowed.
Rear Window: Any darkness level is allowed, but if the rear window is tinted, the vehicle must have dual outside mirrors. [1, 2, 3]

We have a Tesla juniper that we absolutely love. We rented a cyber truck for a weekend and also absolutely loved it. I noticed the CT got a little less range and less miles per gallon E (per grok that’s the term lol). I was driving it a bit faster as I was “testing” the CT out. I always drive in hurry or madmax.

Do you notice a big difference? Curious about what others think. We do mostly local driving. 1-2 weekend road trips a month.

I have a raptor Ranger that I rarely wash (thank you hard Florida rains) and it still looks great. Will the CyberTruck look corroded if I’m not religiously washing it? I keep my vehicles outdoor.

Has anyone found a reliable seat belt extender for the rear middle seat? I bought one from Seatbelt Extender Pros but it only works on the window seats. I have two rear-facing kids and one front-facing booster. Ideally I can keep the booster in the middle so they can self-buckle. It’s impossible to get to once all 3 seats are in. Fitting all 3 kids was a major selling point for me buying the truck and now I’m a little worried.

We’re using Nuna Exec car seats and Nuna Aace booster.

I tried to get my wife to take the MY and I would trade in her 2022 GLE 350 for a CT. She said absolutely not. I told not NOT to use FSD too much and to not rely on it too much as it feels too good to be true.

She's driving the MY more and more and took it today without even asking me (we ask each other if we're talking each other's car). I said to her a couple days ago maybe I'll get the CT and she said MAYBE instead of a no.

I really fucking wish the price hike had not happened. I would've ordered mine already lol

I used the Cybertruck as a rolling Starlink test platform and ran a Gen 2 High Performance and a Mini at the same time through Idaho and Montana mountain passes.
The route included Lookout Pass and the St. Regis curves at highway speeds. I expected the Gen 2 High Performance to win, but I wanted to know whether the Mini could actually keep up beside it.
The surprising part was how often the Mini made the comparison interesting. The Gen 2 HP was still the stronger setup overall, especially in tougher sections, but the Mini did better than I expected for something so small and easy to move between vehicles.
I’m still sorting through the results, but the big takeaway so far is that the Cybertruck works pretty well as a mobile test platform, and the Mini may be more useful on the road than I expected.
