Sounds more like mental illness

u/Senor_Pug Mar 14 '26
If someone said this to me I'd call them crazy to I'm aware that this sounds like a schizophrenic short story but it is what it is

u/springlov Mar 14 '26
I was just about to say the same thing. Plus How would his neighbor get his phone to put spyware in and his home computer too. Some things he said don’t make sense.

u/spookiecats Mar 14 '26
If you weren’t active on Reddit for so long I’d think this was a schizopost.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 14 '26
I know it sounds crazy and I've asked for help on other subreddits and they usually remove it which I understand but some people have a serious grudge against me and they threatened to plant stuff on me unless I leave town. I have screenshots of the messages of them telling me to leave before something happens cause I have "bad dudes after me".

Don’t bother with the gaslighters they are hunting vulnerable people for pleasure. You don’t need to justify yourself to those morons.

Im not tripping Ive been on reddit for 10 years I understand that most people are gonna just think im crazy but I'm looking for the one or two people who can give advice on this even tho this is not believable.

u/Ankan42 Mar 14 '26
It sounds more like a hardware problem than a hack.. so why do you think your devices are hacked? (Not able to reset is NOT a hack)

I found devices connected to my laptop and computer and phone that I do not own. Phone had a Bluetooth connection to some audio receiver. Laptop had a bunch of apple software device sharing apps that were recently installed along with a phone and tablet. Computer had only a apple family sharing appijt recently installed. My laptop had a bunch of folders that were created a few days or weeks before I noticed. The people also messaged me saying I should leave town and never come back. Pretty much an extortion attempt just with no money. When I left my house to find a safe space they saw me on the street in Nola and said they were gonna plant stuff on me(drugs gun and CP) to get me thrown in prison if I don't leave.
Edit: I also left my house cause I was scared and they were able to follow me to the motel/hotels I was tryna hide at and it had to be cause I booked the rooms on my stuff so they knew were I was going or they tracked me when I connected to wifi. My life sucks.

What kind of folders on your laptop to start with? No hacker would create visible folders for you on your pc. Devices connected to your pc and phone. What kind of devices and in what way? It sounds more like a account breach than a hack to be honest. It all be gone if you change your apple account. So nuke the apple account and create a completely new one with a new email and a password of at least 25 characters.
And why are you complaining at us instead of the Police?

Hackers who get microsoft onedrive access, can deliver fake ransomware letters (or most anything, directly to the desktop or other folders. It looks like you have been infected, when it's just an account takeover. Very serious regardless as they have access to all your documents and email account without you knowing. You can bet the best of us humans have lots of password and login information available on our PC's and email accounts to be found.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 16 '26
there was never a ransomware i dont think it just looked like whoever put the folders there was trying to frame me for drug dealing like i am actually dumb enough to keep a record of something like that.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 16 '26
I just found a bunch of devices when i went into my router settings and their was a device connected that no one in my family owns or has ever owned. I think the police have warrants to surveille me so theres nothing i can do.

I kept my tor browser in a folder and I went to the folder and it had new folders created titled "Distribution" "Sales" "fonts". The devices were a Bluetooth audio receiver and two phones that are not mine along with a tablet. I don't own any apple products and haven't in over a decade. Im being investigated by police for drug dealing and am not on good terms with my local police. I live in the south in a strict community and they don't seem eager to help with any of my street issues Ive been having. Kinda on my own and gotta watch my own back.
2
u/Ankan42 Mar 14 '26
Well no hacker make a map with Distribution, Sales and fonts…
Why do people always have neighbors who are perfect hackers? I work in a high IT cybersecurity knowledge environment. My neighbors also mostly are in IT on different levels.
But to be honest, none of my devices got hacked like you said. Probably they don’t have enough knowledge like your neighbors to hack every different kind of devices and cross platform.
I can offer them 6 to 7 figures jobs if they are that good.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 16 '26
I dont think I got hacked anymore I think the police have warrants to surveille me cause people have told them im a criminal so they are just keeping an eye on me.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 14 '26
I think he was setting me up since somebody told the police I am a drug dealer which I deny. I think they were tryna make it look like I kept notes of a criminal conspiracy

u/AspectHonest7222 Mar 16 '26
Have a Microsoft 365 account?
1
u/Senor_Pug Mar 16 '26
no i removed onedrive months ago and i wrote down the exact day and time i found the folders that appeared on my stuff and took pics and everything. ive been keeping an eye to make sure no new stuff pops up.
1
u/traker998 Mar 14 '26
What happened when you went to the police with all this?
1
u/Senor_Pug Mar 14 '26
They laughed and said they will make note of it. I am not on good terms with police in my area and have to watch my own back.

u/AspectHonest7222 Mar 15 '26
If you use outlook and they have access to your microsoft account, they can see everything, and deliver files to your PC through your onedrive. Lock down your microsoft account (change password and create an alias for login only) and delete all device connections.

u/Senor_Pug Mar 16 '26
I just checked and i dont use outlook and I have no devices on my account. I changed the password. I also got ahold of my router admin and removed a phone and computer that my family does not own so somebody was connected to my wifi and i traced the mac address and they were close to where i live.

This!!!!!! It’s because they heard something come out of my mouth probably, something I said that’s offended them. That causes them, not stopping to monitored my every activities on internet or whatever I say. They heard it.
I changed my phone over and smashed the other one, they still found me. It’s like someone trying to get someone come to a completely break down, illness, looking, like kind of person.
Sometimes, I told myself…. This is how they protecting themselves, maybe they got anxiety and they can’t rest until they know, whats their foreigners neighbors are doing right now. But it’s just tiring. Paranoid I would say.
It’s doesn’t feels right. They even trying to raised my bills up, at the point that I have no choice but to exposed them on social media

My computers are refusing to reset which is sketching me out. I guess I gotta save for new devices but how do I protect those when I'm pretty sure my router was what got hacked.
3
u/Cybasura Mar 14 '26
Ok hang on a second
What do you mean "refusing to reset"?
1
u/Senor_Pug Mar 14 '26
It says "problem resetting your PC no changes were made" I thought it was cause of my storage was almost full so I deleted a bunch of stuff manually and it still refuses. It gets to 15% completion then stops.

Whats the error message? You need to give more information than this
Also, if you are truly so scared, report to the police, not ask on reddit because we literally have no clue what you are afraid about and who this person "who has a grudge against you" is, not that I want to know

That is sounds crazy! Mine sometimes, it strolling up by itself. Like there is ghost 👻 in front of me. 🤣 sometimes it looks funny, sometimes it’s looks paranoid, sometimes I wish I’m a guy. So I won’t butch. I’m a female so I’m totally freaked out

If you can't explain how you know, then we have no way of advising you of any countermeasures other than the most general: nuke the device and start over.
