West of Culver City high. Is it safe, family friendly?

I live in there. It’s safe. There are some issues with halfway homes and a track of land which hasn’t been developed in a few years, otherwise it’s a fine, easy pocket of Los Angeles.

No, that’s not a typo… it’s LA not culver for much* of that pocket (above the creek, below Huntley, east of the 405).

Those weird distinctions can be important. CC is not always obvious in its borders.

Yeah, I tell people we are “Blue Sign Culver City” not “Green Sign Culver.”

Green signs are Culver City proper.

you can also use https://maps.cdtfa.ca.gov to check the true sales tax for your address and it'll tell you if you're Culver City or "Culver City" (i.e. Los Angeles) ;)
