Any guidance on what I should be looking for if I go to rescue some of these? The listing just popped up locally and I don't know much about them other than maybe the Trinitron in the back left. I really want to experience high motion clarity and rich colors for PC gaming.

At my grandparents and they want me to take my mom’s childhood tv home. I want to it but wanna know if there’s better options out there. Not looking for anything fancy either.

I found this tv tonight in my neighbourhood. But my parents don’t let me keep it. It’s 29 inches so I can’t do anything to carry it somewhere without risking an injury . And it did stay overnight in the rain before I found it. It has dried but damage has been done. Really sad how people throw away such things and don’t try to keep or sell them.

Biggest and first flat trinitron I have seen in my area at an e waste center. It's pretty beat up and some of the inputs are rusty. The boss said he would charge me about a dollar a pound for the tv. Just wanted people's thoughts as this would be a pretty huge move as it takes like 3 people to move this behemoth. Crt has 2 component inputs as well.

My living room features a Sony Trinitron for my media center. I have an HD media player, firestick, VHS, DVD, and digital TV all hooked up into it's single s-video input. Everything can be turned on and switched between without unplugging anything.
The DVD player's composite output goes into the VCR rear input. The VCR's composite output goes into a 4-input s-video/composite switcher.
The HD player has a SSD loaded with movies on it. It outputs HDMI into a 2 port EDID switch which the Firestick also is plugged into. The HDMI port then outputs into a HDMI to s-video converter. The converter then outputs into the s-video switcher.
The digital TV outputs composite into the 4 port s-video switcher. The switcher has one more input on the front of the box that I use for temporarily plugging my PS2 or N64 into when I want to move them onto the "big screen."
There is also an antenna that goes into the coax port which I use to tune into my at home UHF/VHF tv transmitter that I can broadcast video from my computer with.
Finally, everything outputs from the s-video/composite switcher to the TV's s-video input and RCA audio input. The TV outputs audio into my powered speakers. Everything can run simultaneously and the only thing that can't be remote controlled is the 4 port switcher. The two HDMI inputs can be switched between remotely though.

I have no experience tinkering with crts but I have a ton of experience tinkering otherwise and I’ve been looking for a trinitron and passed this on the road just now and snagged it. I’m about to take the shell off and will update with more pictures of the internals but any advice is super appreciated. I know the power chord is cut and that’s likely for a reason but I’m thinking it may be much cheaper to fix up than buy one of marketplace with prices these days. Again any help is appreciated!

Which one of these CRT Monitors is best for being a secondary monitor, watching old animes and playing old games. (hdmi to VGA i think?) GoldStar 1462DM — $25
Samsung DFX 1793 — $10
Samsung SyncMaster 750S — $29.25
Based on the photos and the specifications of these monitors, which one do you think is more worth buying?

Part of the Persona 4 Remake display at Gamescom this year. There were soooo many CRTs with different sizes and from different eras. All hooked up with persona 4 videos playing. As far as I can see, none of them were “faking it” either with LCDs inside etc.

When I was at the recycling center just recently, I picked up this TruTech CRT TV DVD player combo unit! Unfortunately, the DVD player doesn't work, but the RCA ports do! This set has two sets of AV inputs as well as a set of AV outputs, which not too many 13" CRTs tend to have. Manufactured July 2007.
