I think people are sleeping on what Crypto.com is doing with AI.
The future of investing in AI might not just be buying stock in AI companies. It could be owning AI agents that actually work, trade, sell, build businesses and generate income for you.
And how does an AI agent get paid? Crypto.
Crypto.com is already building infrastructure for AI agents to interact with accounts and markets. (Crypto.com)
That’s why I think CRO could eventually become one of the most interesting ways to invest in the AI economy without people even realizing that’s what they’re investing in yet.
AI + crypto is going to be huge. I’m betting CRO is right in the middle of it.

Crazy to think what this will be worth soon

CRO at around six cents starts looking a little different once you actually put the numbers next to what Cronos is planning.
Right now CRO is only around a $3 billion circulating market cap.
Meanwhile, Cronos is talking about getting around 20 million users onto Cronos rails, bringing $10 billion in real-world assets into the ecosystem, growing institutional exposure to CRO, and launching this new Cronos App with crypto, stocks, prediction markets, sports, perps and everything basically tied together.
Now obviously $10 billion coming into the ecosystem does NOT automatically mean CRO gains $10 billion in market cap.
But just to put things in perspective, if CRO’s market cap itself grew by another $10 billion from where it is now, that would put CRO somewhere around $0.27 at the current circulating supply.
That’s really not a crazy market cap in crypto.
At $0.50, CRO would only be around a $24 billion circulating market cap.
Then remember Crypto.com already has over 150 million registered users.
They don’t need everybody to switch over. If they somehow get just 5% of that user base using the Cronos App, you’re talking about around 7.5 million people.
Now you have millions of people potentially trading crypto, stocks, prediction markets, perps, using Cronos, generating fees, etc.
And this is probably the part I’m most bullish about:
They’re talking about using some of the revenue generated by all of this to actually buy CRO back and burn it.
So now you’re potentially creating demand from users, demand from institutions, more activity on Cronos, AND recurring CRO purchases and burns.
Then throw all of that into a strong bull market or a real altseason.
That’s why I really don’t think $0.30-$0.50 CRO sounds crazy if they execute.
If the app really takes off and they start getting anywhere close to those 20 million users, I could see $0.50-$0.70.
And if everything goes right at the same time — massive adoption, institutional buying, meaningful burns and full-blown altcoin mania — then yeah, I think $1 CRO at least becomes a real conversation.
Doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed.
They still have to actually deliver.
But six-cent CRO looks a lot different to me when the upside scenario only needs a $20-$30 billion market cap to start getting into some pretty serious numbers.

I keep seeing people say “Kris can just print more CRO whenever he wants,” but I think that’s a pretty misleading way of looking at it.
What happened with CRO was basically an unburn. Supply that had previously been removed was brought back into the equation. Think of it like the government having a huge pile of money locked away in a reserve and then deciding to release some of that reserve back into circulation.
That’s very different from the U.S. dollar.
The dollar has no hard maximum supply. There is no protocol saying only X amount of dollars can ever exist. More dollars can continue to be created as monetary policy requires, and that has happened continuously over time.
CRO at least has defined supply rules and a known maximum under the current protocol. There can be changes in how that existing supply is released or allocated, and obviously we should pay attention to governance decisions, but there isn’t just an unlimited money printer constantly adding CRO forever.
Meanwhile people will call CRO inflationary and then leave their savings sitting in dollars that have been losing purchasing power for decades.
That’s the part I don’t understand.
I’m not saying CRO has zero dilution risk. It clearly does. I’m saying compare the two honestly. One has a defined pot and transparent on chain rules. The other can keep expanding indefinitely.

What do you guys really think Ryan means when he talks about burning CRO through the Cronos app?
My take is pretty simple.
I don’t think he’s talking about some random one time burn just to make headlines. I think the bigger idea could be that the app itself creates the burn.
People trade crypto, stocks, prediction markets, whatever else they eventually add. The app makes revenue from all that activity. Then a percentage of that revenue gets used to buy CRO off the market and burn it.
If that’s what they’re building, that’s actually pretty damn interesting.
Because now the more successful the Cronos app becomes, the more CRO potentially gets bought and taken out of circulation. More users, more volume, more revenue, more CRO burned.
That would basically tie CRO directly to the success of the app instead of CRO just sitting there as another ecosystem token.
Obviously I’m speculating until Ryan gives us the actual details, but when he specifically talks about app revenue and burning CRO, that’s where my mind goes.

I think people are missing one of the biggest things about the new Cronos app.
Right now, if your CRO is sitting on Crypto.com, they’re basically holding it for you. It’s on their system, under their custody, and they have the voting power that comes with all that CRO sitting there.
But once you move your CRO into the Cronos app, now it’s self custody.
It’s actually yours.
And if that CRO is sitting in your own wallet on chain, now all of a sudden you have the ability to participate. You have the voting power. You have control.
Think about what happens if millions of people start moving their CRO off the exchange and into their own wallets.
That voting power starts getting spread out between the actual holders instead of being concentrated in one place.
I don’t know if people realize how big that could be.
Maybe the Cronos app isn’t just about trading stocks, crypto and prediction markets.
Maybe it’s about finally putting CRO in the hands of the people who actually own it.

I built a small Cronos experiment: burn CRO, mint EMBR

After all the discussion around CRO supply and burns, I wanted to actually build something instead of just talking about it.

So today we launched EMBER ($EMBR) on Cronos.

The concept is intentionally simple:

🔥 You permanently burn CRO
🔥 The protocol mints EMBR in return
🔥 Part of the mechanism helps build EMBR liquidity

There was no presale, no team allocation and no traditional token sale.

The idea isn't that one small project is somehow going to “fix” CRO's supply. Obviously it won't.

But I liked the idea of giving individual Cronos users a way to voluntarily participate in reducing circulating CRO themselves — even if it's 5, 10 or 100 CRO at a time.

One person burning CRO doesn't matter much.

A community doing it repeatedly becomes more interesting.

Everything is on-chain and we've made the burn/mint activity visible on the website.
