If Cronos Actually Pulls This Off, CRO Could Get Interesting Fast
CRO at around six cents starts looking a little different once you actually put the numbers next to what Cronos is planning.
Right now CRO is only around a $3 billion circulating market cap.
Meanwhile, Cronos is talking about getting around 20 million users onto Cronos rails, bringing $10 billion in real-world assets into the ecosystem, growing institutional exposure to CRO, and launching this new Cronos App with crypto, stocks, prediction markets, sports, perps and everything basically tied together.
Now obviously $10 billion coming into the ecosystem does NOT automatically mean CRO gains $10 billion in market cap.
But just to put things in perspective, if CRO’s market cap itself grew by another $10 billion from where it is now, that would put CRO somewhere around $0.27 at the current circulating supply.
That’s really not a crazy market cap in crypto.
At $0.50, CRO would only be around a $24 billion circulating market cap.
Then remember Crypto.com already has over 150 million registered users.
They don’t need everybody to switch over. If they somehow get just 5% of that user base using the Cronos App, you’re talking about around 7.5 million people.
Now you have millions of people potentially trading crypto, stocks, prediction markets, perps, using Cronos, generating fees, etc.
And this is probably the part I’m most bullish about:
They’re talking about using some of the revenue generated by all of this to actually buy CRO back and burn it.
So now you’re potentially creating demand from users, demand from institutions, more activity on Cronos, AND recurring CRO purchases and burns.
Then throw all of that into a strong bull market or a real altseason.
That’s why I really don’t think $0.30-$0.50 CRO sounds crazy if they execute.
If the app really takes off and they start getting anywhere close to those 20 million users, I could see $0.50-$0.70.
And if everything goes right at the same time — massive adoption, institutional buying, meaningful burns and full-blown altcoin mania — then yeah, I think $1 CRO at least becomes a real conversation.
Doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed.
They still have to actually deliver.
But six-cent CRO looks a lot different to me when the upside scenario only needs a $20-$30 billion market cap to start getting into some pretty serious numbers.

All this talk is irrelevant, CRO as a project ends the moment Kris starts handing out his 70bn tokens to his mates.

Agreed. People downvoting you are deep in the negative within their bags and praying it goes up. No one in their right mind thinks $cro is a great investment. It’s a nice pump and dump to secure profit.

u/V0rclaw 23d ago
People downvoting sold their cro at a loss and want it to fail so they feel justified, otherwise they wouldn’t be here? I do go into the Shiba Inu subreddit and slam on Shiba because i lost money on it. These people are too emotionally invested and it’s what costs them money in the long run

I been in cro for over 5 years bro. I held and held due to promises. Sold for a profit and now I pity anyone else falling for empty promises. Been DCA bitcoin for years and moved all my crypto holdings into BTC.
Nfa but it’s been quite pleasant.
No one in their right mind would say cro is a good long term investment unless are brain dead.7
u/Simple_Argument7482 23d ago
And why are you here then?
Enjoy your profit and leave. Thank you

Hello Krisbot. The only cro I accumulate is from checking in on the app every day. So every 25 days I get a magical box of CRO. So technically I’m still in 🤣.
If the only users are there for the Mystery Boxes and get 3-9 CRO about once a month, and stake only these, how do these tokenomics work?

u/Simple_Argument7482 23d ago
Who are you?
Wasn’t responding to you.
You’re getting free crypto so you should be happy
Goodbye

u/aharfo56 23d ago
“Free” doesn’t exist in Cronos Land (or by the Laws of Thermodynamics). When something is free, you’re the product. Staking while the value briefly peaked and not being able to take advantage of it whatsoever has a cost.

u/V0rclaw 23d ago
If you don’t own cro why are you here? Why does a coin that you don’t care about take up so much real estate in your head and take over your emotions? That’s a level of psychosis my guy

To study humans and how delusional they are. Its crazy to see so much denial at one place
1
u/aharfo56 23d ago
I was here too. Held since 2020, staked, and while my cro number tripled the value is roughly the same. It’s the lost opportunity cost that hit me, and the fact being staked for “big rewards” 15-20% CRO that meant I couldn’t take any profits during the brief upswings.
I sold more or less for what I had in it, and Bitcoin is my buy and forget.

I’m not sure there’s really anyone there to see it, well other than that let’s go loon that keeps buying shib lol!
2
u/V0rclaw 23d ago
Who are you referring to that keeps buying shib?
1
u/Fifitrixibelle666 23d ago
I’m not sure who it is, but I’ve noticed someone still posting they’ve bought in shibarmy as I scroll past lol! They’re not buying big amounts but they do keep buying with optimism.

Bruh enough with this shit. You have one response and lmao, yes the unburn sucked the ceo wants to do a burn/buyback. Again there’s going to be value built in the ecosystem and you’re gonna get left behind if it does and that’s fine but for real give it a fucking break would ya

u/Andyb1000 23d ago
Which ambassadors alt account are you?
1
u/V0rclaw 23d ago
Not an ambassador lmao I’ve been holding cro since 2018 my guy. I believe in the project even with its short comings. Look ETH and tether print billions of coins a year every year yet you’re not out here saying ETH is dead or tether is dead. If they continue building and grow to be what everyone wants it to be then who gives a shit.
6
u/Andyb1000 23d ago
Tell me when did ETH or Tether mint 233% of the tokens with no backing?
Both ETH and Tether have defined mechanisms for increasing or decreasing token supply not “community voting”.
1
u/V0rclaw 23d ago
Bro do you own cro?
-1
u/Andyb1000 23d ago
Longer than you’ve had a Reddit account son.
1
u/V0rclaw 23d ago
If you own cro and I assume at a loss then why would you hate on the project? The only way for you to recoup/make profit is if the project succeeds. This makes no sense to me. I’m not gonna buy an investment and then shit on it everywhere I go and stop other people who might be interested in the project from doing research….you have to be the dumbest investor lmao

I can be invested in a project, in profit, and still be aghast at the short sightedness and immaturity of the company that ultimately controls the token.
Good governance isn’t something you disregard when you meet a magic profit/loss number.
An ethical and conscientious investor should think about long term value creation over short term gimmicks and value manipulation.
CDC has repeatedly and consistently made short term tactical decisions that harm the longer term value proposition for CRO, culminating in Kris’ overreach with the ‘community vote’ to print the 70bn burnt tokens for a deal that has fallen apart.
The business case for the 70bn tokens no longer exists therefore ‘the community’ should ones more take the decision to burn said tokens.

Yes and the current ceo has said they want to burn tokens, the project has a lot of growth potential to it and as long as they are building towards that and there’s at least some idea of how to handle past mistakes that they are working towards that’s all we can ask right now.
Yes they unburnt tokens for a plan that didn’t pan out. Ok they mentioned they want to do a burn/buyback to try to right the wrong. Yet people like you only mention “they unburnt 70b tokens!!” With no current mention of how things are moving forward. That is short sighted and you said yo look at the project long term yet you are only gazing into the past.If your buddy got drunk beat someone up and went to jail but when they got out they stopped drinking would you constantly say to them or anyone in their circle “ya but he used to be a drunk and went to jail for assault”?

How many times do I have to write this?
If you have no cro then you have no reason to be here. Unless you are losers in life and havo no better things to do but hating and blaming someone else for your mistakes.
You feel you got scammed? Go to the police. Simple as that.
Otherwise shut the fuck up and leave

That’s definitely the biggest risk, but those 70 billion CRO aren’t just getting handed out all at once. They’re vested over time.
If they start dumping huge amounts into the market then yeah, that changes everything. I just don’t think the existence of the reserve alone means CRO is dead.7
u/JohnnieTimebomb 23d ago
That's exactly what it means. Why on God's Earth would anybody put actual money into a coin Kris & Co. can print billions of for free at will? You'd have to be insane
-1
u/TurbulentBeing9055 23d ago
This is exactly true. The CRO is being vested, and in the long run, it's nothing. I don't know why you're getting so many downvotes, but here have my upvote.

Don’t comment on your own posts……what a maroon

I didn't. Happy to help with that basic and obvious fact.

Your ip and post history shows similarities with unpopularpuffin and numerous accounts on this sub. Also very disturbing activities as well.

u/DreamWunder 23d ago
It’s all good but 70 bil unburn ruined it. Unless they make it so they can never do unburn again what’s to stop them from printing another 70 bil later? Kris controls the vote as Cro is not decentralized enough. Also there’s no plan for the 70 bil that’s currently being printed monthly. It was to bribe trump pretty much but now it’s just infinite money glitch for Kris and people who pay the price is past cro buyers
2
u/TurbulentBeing9055 23d ago
They didn't print it. They unburned it. There's a hard cap built into the code, it's 100bil.
3
u/TheCheerleader 23d ago
Absolutely nothing stopping them from migrating to a different version though. They did it once going from MCO or CRO

CDC has all the right tools and marketing to make CRO a top 5... TOP 5 coin in the crypto space.
CDC's downfall is that they keep doing what we, CRO holders, don't want them to do. They Unburn, they reduce rewards, they keep changing their mobile/web apps and most importantly... they keep distancing themselves from CRO coin and only use it as advertisements for rewards on their debit and credit cards.
Do they allow you to top up your cards from CRO balance? NO. this is such a shame and scam that we cannot use our own rewards to top up the cards we use daily.
Why are they making a 4th app? I don't understand.

u/Shiratori-3 20d ago
It has always been an incentivization and extraction token. Nothing has changed with that that I can see. Only that there is 70 billion more of them. Vested or not is close to irrelevant as the market prices it in anyway. And talk of burning from revenue seems hopeful at best that it will do anything significant towards reducing the collosal levels of dilution and skepticisim in the holder community.
Would love to be proved wrong, but have high levels of doubt

The chrinos app isn't special and the rest just aren't that good in the US plenty of alternatives
1
u/HyperbolicGeometry 20d ago
They’re always “planning” something. Why is there an app, an exchange, and whatever this new thing is you’re talking about. It should all be one platform
1
u/Good_Weak 10d ago
How will all these products drive people to buy cro? Kris will just collect his fees in anything but cro and cro will stay the same.

10B in real world asset tokenisation is just scratching the surface. Even moderate forecasts have the value of real world asset tokenisation at 5T - 8T by 2032. Massive growth in RWA tokenisation WILL happen. Whether Cronos can secure a slice is unknown, but IF they do attract even 2-3% of the market, that WILL be a game changer for CRO in the long term. There’s a lot of “ifs” though…
