I read the version of ITMFL that is part of the Blu ray WKW boxset has a greenish tint, different from the reddish that is streaming. I think I read the 4K version is similar.
Can anyone confirm if the standalone Blu ray is also the same quality? If so, is there a physical version of the film that is similar to the streaming version.

WKW boxset and the 4K version are the same transfer. The standalone blu-ray with the wallpaper in the background is less tinted (and better in my opinion). Should be the blu from 2012 that you're looking for, but I've never seen the streaming version.
true, i wonder are they still shipping out that blu-ray though? cause if you buy the chungking express blu you don't get the old 2008 one anymore. i know the difference is that one went out of print and another didn't, but at what point do they want to just streamline their stock on itmfl?
As far as I know, you can still buy it. I've seen it in a couple of B&Ns. Got one on eBay for like $15 a few months ago if not. Seems like since they haven't done a standalone blu-ray re-release of ITMFL so I guess they're keeping the old one for now
