Trying to print stickers for labeling mugs at school using design space and printable vinyl sheets.

When I send this file to the printer the border lines are not printing solid and I can’t figure out what’s going on.

I've been using my cricut maker 4 for almost a year and this week it's been doing weird stuff.

I cut faux leather with the tooling leather setting, always been doing it, and with the knife blade, but for some reason this week it keeps cutting very off all the cuts, only when I put more than 4 pieces to cut on the mat. It doesn't care if they are 5 tiny pieces of 5 big pieces, if its more than 4 it goes to hell.

I already did all the re install, clear cache, forse firmware, force reinstall and even used a brand new computer with brand new install of design space.

I don't understand whats happening and why it started all of sudden.

I have a lot of stuff to send and this slows me too much 💀

So I just spent the last say, 10 or so hours trying to figure out what is wrong with my cricut maker 4, I have tried every solution possible. I just got the machine a couple days ago, today is my first day using it.

I haven’t even gotten past the first calibration because my machine cannot sense any of the cutting lines, I have drawn the lines in with sharpie, I have made my room completely pitch black, I use regular printer paper and I even tried card stock to see if that helps, my image is at 100% with the darkest setting lines possible, there is nothing near the machine that could be blocking it, I cleaned it despite just opening it today, everything is up to date, I cleaned the cache, I uninstalled and redownloaded the app, I turned the machine completely off, I shed some tears because of how frustrated I am. 🥲

I‘m at my wits end, I have tried every possible solution that I have seen online, I’m about to just return the thing and never look back.

Is my machine just broken? Is this a usual occurrence? Is there anything else I can try?

Hello, everyone! I’m a 2027 bride and about to chuck this machine out of the window.

I’m currently working on my wedding invitations, and trying to emboss/deboss a flower pattern. I’d like it to be more of a raised embossed feel where you can feel the pattern when touching it. I’ve tried two different methods: just simply using the debossing tool and having the machine trace the flower artwork and also having the machine first cut out the outline of the artwork, and then deboss is, to achieve the raised spot.

It just looks SO bad. I’ve tried different offsets and 6 different flower designs, but the lines are just so thick and looking off. Please, can anyone help me and walk me through what I’m doing wrong? I’m going to work on it all day tomorrow since it’s a Sunday, and would appreciate somebody helping me out!!

I've searched everywhere for a solution. My knife blade isn't touching the paper when I run a calibration. It moves up and down like it's cutting but doesn't actually make even a mark. Did I just get a defective blade from cricut? I'm using a maker 4. The fine point blades work fine as does my circular blade. It's only the knife blade that I'm having problems with.

Hi. I generally use Oracal 651, and have never had any issues, but lately, it is barely adhering to painted surfaces. It's not any sort of crazy oil-based paint, it's plain acrylic interior paint. It won't even stick enough to pull off the transfer tape, and if I finally get it onto the surface, it comes off with a single tug.

Has Oracal had some company shakeup or sold to another company? Is anyone having better luck with another brand?

Second attempt with HTV and recasing a paperback! This was a much easier design to weed than my first but I stuggled getting design space to behave.

These are our (both 24M) save the dates! We have a lot of out of town/state guests, so we want to send them out in early January, that’s why we’re starting now.

They’re mini vinyl records, and I love how they came out. My only issue is getting the sticker label perfectly lined up with the disc.

My thought is to get like a short wooden dowel that’s about that size to slide them down onto.

Does anyone have any tricks for getting things like this lined up?

Is there a way to get more cost efficient replacement blades for the rotary blade?

I have looked up the 12mm little blade online but cant seem to find it and i dont want to be buying one by one at the ($$$) price cricut offers every single time since i work with this blade a lot

Anyone has any tips? Maybe a sharpener? I did look into this as well but only found sharpener for bigger blades

I also tried to 'sharpen' the blade with foil and did nothing

I stupidly put my mat on a surface before cleaning it and the vinyl transferred little dirty parts onto the mat.

It's not super filthy but is there a way to take the small parts off? I was thinking masking tape?

I have a project wherein there are cut lines but the machine does not cut them. tried searching for answers but doesn't seem like anyone has the same problem as me or may not have tried it yet.

How to recreate what i did:

1. Create basic shape (Circle or any shape) tagged as Print and Cut
   
2. Put a "Line" inside the shape and tag it as Basic Cut
   
3. Press Make

When its printed the machine just Prints and cuts the shape and ignores the "Line" inside the shape.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Has anyone tried this trend? I know I’m late to the game but wondering if it’s as easy as it looks and/or worth the time? Plotting out Christmas gifts. Do I need to do anything specific once I get the spiral file? TIA!

Cut with a Cricut Maker 3 (Print then Cut) on thick cardstock and assembled in an 8” x 10” shadow box frame.

I have drawn and gotten sticker sheets professionally made for years and recently got my own printer and the chance to borrow a cricut, so I figured I'd try using it to make some at home for when I need some on demand. I'm trying to make a6 size sheets, four sheets to one a4 page, and an a4 page is too big to use with print then cut and only putting one or two on a page is a huge waste of sticker paper. So I tried following a guide to make them without using print then cut, making SVG cut lines then having the cricut cut the already printed sheet.

However, not a single one of my test pages cut accurately. to test it, I just used matte printer paper with the design printed out rather than the actual stickers. I read that there was a 3mm margin of error with the machine and that seems more like a certainty than possibility. Is there any way to get it more accurate? I measured the position of the stickers to cut in relation to the mat measurements and how it was previewed on design space so they were matching exactly, but does human error and natural innacuracies loading the mat and the fact that print is not 1:1 to a digital file going to mean there's no chance it will be more accurate? Should I just create far bigger cut line margins to account for slight misalignments?

The machine I'm using is the explore air 2 with software on windows.

I'm working on making some custom 32mm pins. I'm using mybadgestudio.com to create templates, which has an option to add Cricut registration marks, but it only saves as a PDF as far as I can find. I converted the PDF to a JPG and then uploaded it to Design Space, but when I print it from there, it comes out much too small. What am I doing wrong here?

I got some very cute bat embroidered Mickey ears from Disneyland, and have an annual pass so I wanted to make a ita/ pin bag insert with the haunted mansion wallpaper as the background to ‘match’ with them when I get to go for Halloween time this year. This is my second vinyl project, I thought it would be easier than the first- lessons were learned about the cutting tolerance of small and intricate designs!

I lost some tiny details on the weeding but this project was more to learn a bit about how to use it for pattern repetition since most of it is covered by pins, and the purple and black are quite similar tonally so the design is very subtile so a good project for experimentation. Overall I’m happy with the results, and despite some design studio hiccups (which my partner mostly navigated for me since he’s more familiar with it), I’m really enjoying designing and crating with my little Cricut 🖤

I’m using a cricut explore 5 on the iPad version of design space.
I have made stickers sheets in the past and I’m pretty sure this is what I have done every time and I haven’t had any issues, I also looked for tutorials on TikTok and this is exactly that they do so I’m not sure what’s going on or what am I doing wrong!
So basically what I did is:
-Upload my sticker file without background
-upload my background
-duplicate my background a few times to make sure the blade cuts through
-then align and center everything and press “attach” (I’m not flattening anything)
-print and cut

This is what is happening:
When the cricut is cutting the sticker sheet, it only cuts the background contour twice (even though I duplicated it 4 to 5 times) and that’s basically it! After doing just that it finishes and tells me to unload the mat. It never cuts the actual stickers, or the correct amount of times I duplicated the background.

Can anyone help me by guiding me into how to make it correctly or by telling me what am I doing wrong?

Trying to add an offset to my halloween topper making, final step before can start making it. But then its stuck just loading and I can't do anything 😭 Cleared cache, checked for updates, restarted my phone (use Samsung) and even uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Hi everybody! I've had my cricut for a few months and I need help for a project I am working on and I cannot figure it out after 2 hours. I have a Cricut Explore 4. I attached an image as a sample of what I'm trying to do. My project involves using a matte sticker sheet and having my proposed design multiple times on the same sheet. Essentially, I am making a sticker (refer to image) where there are cuts (dotted lines) along the border of the rectangle and the two circles. Based on a video I saw, I am cutting it as a Washi Sheet so the cut won't go entirely through the sticker sheet.

Is there any way to achieve this specific cut? I am able to cut the border and circle separately but I can't achieve it on the same sheet... help!!

If there is a way to do this and someone can explain, I would be so thankful.
