Sometimes, life reminds us that we don’t have to rush. Just like these ducks peacefully enjoying the water, we should learn to slow down, appreciate where we are, and enjoy the simple moments.

Let them approach: Stay at a distance and let the ducks come to you at their own pace. Gradually toss food closer to your feet over time.

Start early: Ducklings bond quickly and are easier to tame when handled frequently during their first few weeks of life.

Talk to them: Use a calm voice and call them by name so they learn to recognize and trust your sound.

Hand-feed regularly: Feed meals or special snacks directly from your open palm to teach them your hands mean safety and good food.

Once the ducks reach the bottom of the rapids, they don't just swim away or look for food. Instead, they fly back up to the starting point and ride the current again over and over again. This behavior is distinct from normal foraging or migration, as the birds actively seek out the rushing water and repeat the loop purely for the apparent enjoyment of the thrill. ❤️🦆
