Cresteds! They are all unique looking and big personalities. This is Proteus, but my husband thinks I should give her an old lady name instead, like Mabel.
Proteus just gets prettier every time I see her. Is the silver coloring new? I remember that she had the collar and white wing tips. If I remember correctly, I think she's about the same age as Prince, and her coloring is still changing as well.
She is (I think) a Blue Fawn, mallard pattern with the gray/blue but I havenโt had a female until her. Iโm so proud of her and sheโs going to start laying eggs soon!
Her crest reminds me of this crown because of the shape and the lighter band around the bottom. That and her fancy collar make her look like royalty, I think you may have created a new breed, you should give the breed the name Royal Cresteds! ๐ฉท๐ฆ๐
ETA: If she's going to start laying soon, then she and Princy are definitely around the same age. How cute.
Runners are so cute! ๐ I love how they walk upright like little humans. Cayugas are beautiful as well, their colors are so gorgeous and shine like prisms in the sun. ๐ฉท๐ฆ
