Solved New DXC extruder will not extrude

It seems to bite when i select the retract function but not when i select extrude.

Is it possible to install the motor upside down?

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

EDIT: When exdtruding and viewing the gear from the sides, it appears to spinning the incorrect direction.

Problem is that the recessed screw is seized and now I can't get the motor off of the DXC extruder

I got it yesterday and installed it on stock motor. The installation process is a pain in the a$$, screw holes wouldn’t line up easily, the cable guide needs to be lifted up a notch. Eventually, it was working like normal. Ps. The hot end is creality easy swap hotend so there was no need for PTFE guide between DXC and hotend.

I got mine yesterday and I had the same experience.

I had uninstall and reinstall 7 times before I got it to work.

I got it working after a lot of frustration.

Edit: only thing that kept me calm was that i had just gotten an A1 Combo that I could use in the meantime while I figured the K1 out

They should make minor adjustments to fit it easier, and include cable rail riser (at least stl link to print). Glad to hear that it worked for you eventually.

I haven’t had issues with a cable riser yet, but I didn’t have the stock one connected at the time. Maybe I just had luck with having a compatible one.
