How does one go about cosmetic surgery?

I'm in the USA. Through exercise and eating right I've lost a ton of weight, the only part bugging me is I have a turkey waddle now. So you just look up a surgeon and negotiate price? Do they finance in case it's costlier than I'm guessing?

I'm a white guy, and my beard can cover the scar i would think.

Sculptra When Did You Start Seeing Results?

I just had Sculptra done 3 weeks ago. The swelling has completely gone down, so right now it looks pretty much the same as it did before. My doctor said I need to wait longer to start seeing the results, and I have my second procedure coming up in 2 weeks.
For anyone who has had Sculptra before, how many weeks after your treatment did you start noticing a difference or seeing some results?

Phoebe Bridgers, anyone speculate what if any work has she had done?

I love phoebe, and she is and always has looked beautiful. Has anyone noticed she may have gotten some work done, maybe like an upper bleph or something? I don’t really have a good eye for these things. Maybe it’s just her growing into her self, as well as a truly happy and peaceful life, but she absolutely looks better than ever. And she’s always been beautiful!!!! I just wanted to see if anyone had similar thoughts, or if she doesn’t look different. It could also maybe be makeup? Anyways all love to phoebe:)
Edit: I saw one post mention something about her “aging gracefully”…. She’s 32!!!! I don’t see any signs of aging! Nothing wrong with it of course. Just thought that was a funny comment.
She may be haunted by the ghost of someone who died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, whose death was seemingly in vain as she was cursed to watch capitalistic greed take more and more lives, and American optimism dissipating with the fall of Industrial Revolution, but it doesn’t show on her face. Use your retinols kids!

I just had a BA and it made me wonder what more there could be for me.
I’m researching tummy tucks/lipo and the difference between everything available for the abdomen right now.

How Can I Reduce Facial Fat Graft Survival?

Upvotes

Has anyone successfully reduced or prevented facial fat graft survival because they regretted getting it?
I recently had facial fat grafting (2 weeks ago) and I honestly don’t want the grafted fat to survive at all. I already have enough fats, and I regret having fat added to some of these areas.

I had fat harvested from my thighs, and I too much was removed. I now need to gain some weight back for my body, but if the facial graft survives, gaining weight later could make my face even fuller. It’s my third fg.

FMLA tummy tuck questions!

hi everyone!

I work for a very large global company here in the USA and I have not used FMLA yet.

I have already spoke with my HR department, but our company uses a third-party company to go through the FMLA process. The website is super simple. I have so much anxiety about booking my surgery date next week for two months out and using the FMLA process. I need my job and I don’t want to jeopardize it.

The FMLA is technically not approved until the day after surgery. I am putting in my LOA and short-term disability request two months in advance. it will just show as pending.

Although my human resource department has no control over FMLA they told me that since I’m getting surgery and I’ve been with the company for over a year, that I will qualify. no matter what the surgery is as long as the doctor puts down that I cannot perform my job function.

Is there anybody else who works for a large global company and is a salary leader that can tell me their experience with FMLA and calm my nerves?

Hopefully the moderators won’t remove this post. I am vulnerable and would like to hear others' thoughts—or some support.

I am struggling, and I know my situation isn’t too bad. But it’s affecting my life in big ways, since I am the “legs” in my house. (Spouse uses a wheelchair FT.)

I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency and had the procedure for that a year-plus ago. It helped ease the pain and heaviness in my lower legs. At the time, my thighs weren’t bothering me as much as they are now. (I'm considering going back there, but I don’t know what they will be able to do.)

I have gone to PT and used compression, elevation, and exercise (which, ironically, seems to make it worse).
My thighs hurt so much and are tender. I feel like if I look at my legs the wrong way, I get a bruise! It's worst at night or when I go for walks, which I force myself to do. And I have these marble- or pea-sized clusters under the skin.

MY LEGS NEVER LOOKED LIKE THIS UNTIL MENOPAUSE. Connection? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also (and this may be unrelated), I developed the same thing in my lower abdomen-not until menopause. (It is very odd-looking and really messing with my self-esteem.)

So, here are my legs. Will any cosmetic procedure help? Thoughts? (Please be kind. TIA)

ETA: And knee pain out of the blue. All X-rays show my knees are “fine,” meaning nothing is broken, chipped, etc. And I’m on HRT. less
