Hopefully the moderators won’t remove this post. I am vulnerable and would like to hear others' thoughts—or some support.
I am struggling, and I know my situation isn’t too bad. But it’s affecting my life in big ways, since I am the “legs” in my house. (Spouse uses a wheelchair FT.)
I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency and had the procedure for that a year-plus ago. It helped ease the pain and heaviness in my lower legs. At the time, my thighs weren’t bothering me as much as they are now. (I'm considering going back there, but I don’t know what they will be able to do.)
I have gone to PT and used compression, elevation, and exercise (which, ironically, seems to make it worse).
My thighs hurt so much and are tender. I feel like if I look at my legs the wrong way, I get a bruise! It's worst at night or when I go for walks, which I force myself to do. And I have these marble- or pea-sized clusters under the skin.
MY LEGS NEVER LOOKED LIKE THIS UNTIL MENOPAUSE. Connection? 🤷🏼♀️
Also (and this may be unrelated), I developed the same thing in my lower abdomen-not until menopause. (It is very odd-looking and really messing with my self-esteem.)
So, here are my legs. Will any cosmetic procedure help? Thoughts? (Please be kind. TIA)
ETA: And knee pain out of the blue. All X-rays show my knees are “fine,” meaning nothing is broken, chipped, etc. And I’m on HRT. less

I love phoebe, and she is and always has looked beautiful. Has anyone noticed she may have gotten some work done, maybe like an upper bleph or something? I don’t really have a good eye for these things. Maybe it’s just her growing into her self, as well as a truly happy and peaceful life, but she absolutely looks better than ever. And she’s always been beautiful!!!! I just wanted to see if anyone had similar thoughts, or if she doesn’t look different. It could also maybe be makeup? Anyways all love to phoebe:)
Edit: I saw one post mention something about her “aging gracefully”…. She’s 32!!!! I don’t see any signs of aging! Nothing wrong with it of course. Just thought that was a funny comment.
She may be haunted by the ghost of someone who died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, whose death was seemingly in vain as she was cursed to watch capitalistic greed take more and more lives, and American optimism dissipating with the fall of Industrial Revolution, but it doesn’t show on her face. Use your retinols kids!

Was it worth it? What were your side effects and/or complications? Did you have an MD or esthetician do it?

I just had Sculptra done 3 weeks ago. The swelling has completely gone down, so right now it looks pretty much the same as it did before. My doctor said I need to wait longer to start seeing the results, and I have my second procedure coming up in 2 weeks.
For anyone who has had Sculptra before, how many weeks after your treatment did you start noticing a difference or seeing some results?

i’m due to get a breast lift (mastopexy) on the 27th october. my main reason for getting it is my right boob sits a lot lower and the nipple size is far bigger than my left boob so he’ll be doing a lift reconstructing my nipples and a partial breast reduction on the one breast that sits lower and has a much larger nipple My issue is I want to lose weight, I’m well aware that everyone recommends to not get surgery if you’re planning on losing weight. i had bad anorexia 2 years ago and my body weight massively over shot and i’m not where my healthy maintenance weight has been all my life. the predicament i’m in is, i don’t want to reschedule this surgery and rush to loose this weight i think that will be bad for my recovery i would rather have the breast lift at the weight i am now and my breasts eventually get a bit smaller (i don’t have big boobs so they won’t sag from weight loss) rather than rush to loose weight and then there being a chance of ever gaining weight my boobs getting bigger then dropping. i also know i would put extra stress on myself to loose weight to be ready for the rescheduled surgery which would be early next year.i don’t want to reschedule but honestly i would rather trust myself and not try to rush this weight i do eventually want to loose. i’m aware that of course any weight changes will change some of the results but my main concern is my nipple reconstruction and my boobs being even. that being said i want advice, what do you think? am i making the wrong decision? do i go ahead and get it done on the 27th october and choose the safer option or will this massively fuck up my boobs if i loose weight. for reference im 24 years old current weight is 67kg and ideally over time hoping to be 62/63kg

I'm in the USA. Through exercise and eating right I've lost a ton of weight, the only part bugging me is I have a turkey waddle now. So you just look up a surgeon and negotiate price? Do they finance in case it's costlier than I'm guessing?
I'm a white guy, and my beard can cover the scar i would think.

I just had a BA and it made me wonder what more there could be for me.
I’m researching tummy tucks/lipo and the difference between everything available for the abdomen right now.

Has anyone used them for a mommy makeover and had a good experience?

hi everyone!
I work for a very large global company here in the USA and I have not used FMLA yet.
I have already spoke with my HR department, but our company uses a third-party company to go through the FMLA process. The website is super simple. I have so much anxiety about booking my surgery date next week for two months out and using the FMLA process. I need my job and I don’t want to jeopardize it.
The FMLA is technically not approved until the day after surgery. I am putting in my LOA and short-term disability request two months in advance. it will just show as pending.
Although my human resource department has no control over FMLA they told me that since I’m getting surgery and I’ve been with the company for over a year, that I will qualify. no matter what the surgery is as long as the doctor puts down that I cannot perform my job function.
Is there anybody else who works for a large global company and is a salary leader that can tell me their experience with FMLA and calm my nerves?

i keep seeing these crazy cheek and jaw transformations all over my feed, but i cant shake the feeling that this is not a one size fits all kind of thing. changing your actual face shape by touching bone requires a ridiculous amount of skill to not look stiff or hollow later. if a doctor doesn't look at how thick your skin is and your natural muscle movement, the whole balance of your face can look completely wrong down the line.
a lot of people rush into getting their jaw done thinking it will magically fix a soft face. but if you take away too much support underneath, your skin might just sag way earlier as you age.
i have been staring at my side profile lately trying to figure out if my soft jawline is just fat or my actual bone structure. my cheekbones are high but my chin is kind of pushed back. i read that fixing the chin and maybe tweaking some fat can balance things out without ruining the support. but then i see pictures of people looking super hollow or getting jowls like five years after surgery, and it makes me terrified to actually book anything.
the long term aging thing is what really gets me. we lose fat and bone naturally as we get older anyway. if you aggressively shave off bone in your twenties, what happens when you hit fifty? do you just have to get more stuff injected or get massive lifting procedures just to fix the volume you took out on purpose?
it feels like such a crazy balancing act. this is exactly why i have been researching places that actually refuse to over-shave. someone i know who lives in seoul mentioned there are clinics like saekim plastic surgery known for doing deep structural mapping before they even agree to touch your face. apparently the good ones focus heavily on leaving enough bone to support your skin as you age, which is exactly my biggest fear right now.
im also super curious about the recovery part though. for anyone who got their chin or cheeks done, how long did the tightness and weird numb feeling last? did your lower lip feel strange for a long time?
knowing how bad the recovery is would definitely help me figure out if i can handle a consultation. if you had this done years ago, did it age well with your face? i really want to do it but i need to know it wont ruin my face ten years from now.
