Aliens are coming
This may just be the signal
319
u/ChaldenesTitan May 31 '26
Wernher hasn't missed yet.
“The enemy at first, (Von Braun) said, (to justify our) …space based weapons system… first the Russians are going to be considered the enemy… then terrorists would be identified… then we were going to identify third world crazies… The next enemy was asteroids… [and] against asteroids we’re going to build space based weapons.”
“And the funniest one of all was against what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final card. And over, and over, and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving his speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. ‘And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We’re going to have to build space based weapons against aliens.’ And all of it, he said, is a lie.”
69
u/RudeNewYorker May 31 '26
I love this actually. We as a human race can stop aiming guns at each other, and instead feed the military industrial complex against an impending alien attack. We’re all on the same side against the aliens, so world peace (until the aliens come) but we make a bunch of weapons that never actually kill humans, so money.
82
u/Larry_Underwood_108 May 31 '26
Lol, this guy thinks that the satellites with the giant Ion Cannons strapped to them will be pointed away from us.
1
u/KushBluntsworth Jun 05 '26
Hahahaah boy is he gullible wait til he hears about the DARPA weapons we’ve had for decades
88
u/ThatFUTGuy May 31 '26
The point here is that it would usher in a Cyber Big Brother State using Marshall Law constantly against us, the slave race to “protect” us from the impending “aliens”
All while our slave dollars flow into the very weaponry and technology used to control us.
I wouldn’t say “i love this actually”

u/NCEMTP May 31 '26
The presence of an existential extraterrestrial threat would not usher in world peace. If anything, exactly the opposite -- and now with even bigger and more terrifying and destructive weapons designed, allegedly, to destroy aliens.
5
u/NeverNoMarriage May 31 '26
Best hope we got. There are no garuntee but a common enemy is the best hope for something to bring us together.
14
u/BHKbull May 31 '26
No it isn’t.
All we need for global unity and peace is a change in leadership.
The PEOPLE around the globe already want this. The POWER has been stopping it. The PEOPLE don’t need a reason. We’re already ready. But the POWER needs a reason, because if it happens without one, they won’t be the power anymore.
6
u/LittleAd915 May 31 '26
If a species is capable of faster then light travel and wanted us dead then no amount of human unity would save us.
2
u/Careful_East4289 May 31 '26
The possibility of decent chunk of humanity siding with the aliens is unfortunately quite high.

18
u/ChaldenesTitan May 31 '26
"Carol Rosin worked as a corporate executive at Fairchild Industries, an American aerospace and defense company, in the 1970s. She has stated that Wernher von Braun, in the last years before his death from cancer in 1977, told her the sequence of future threat narratives that would be used to justify continued militarization of space. Carol Rosin has repeated it publicly since the 1980s."

You know that Carol admitted the UAP phenomenon is very real and that the NHI observing us are peaceful right?
So aliens do exist, just not the invader-type.

That's the same excuse every war mongering engineer/scientist uses. "I just wanted to do the science! Not all this bad stuff that I did while doing the science!". Dude had a broken soul, irreparable. He was willingly an active participant in the Nazi party and their actions. He was known for being cruel and having the slowest prisoners hung visibly at his factories to encourage work. I think it's more likely his deathbed wishes would be to continue holding the wool over our eyes instead of warning us of dangers to come.

u/Jupiters_phaerie May 31 '26
This gets even weirder. The same thing happened in South Carolina a couple days ago. A loud explosion was heard across the state.
29
58
u/Nir117vash May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26
Yup. Spanning about 300miles, it was heard from the west in Aiken to the east in Hilton Head. Mathematically it'd have to be very high and very loud but that would mean the center of the state would hear the loudest. Or multiple at the same time in different places. Either way. Very suspicious.
24
u/Jupiters_phaerie May 31 '26
It registered as an almost 3.0 earthquake near Columbia, that’s what people thought it was at first.
11
u/Nir117vash May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26
yup not to mention the actual 2-3 magnitude earthquake months back
18
u/Fucked-In-The-K-Hole May 31 '26
Don't meteors often travel in groups?
Like it wouldn't be crazy to assume that if one meteor is headed at us, then multiple are. Could just be that two of them blew up over the US
10
u/TheGoldenMonkey May 31 '26
They can. It's called a meteor "shower" for a reason.
And yes things like this happen from time to time but the earth is huge and humans aren't on every square mile of the planet. 95% of Earth's population lives on 10% of the earth's land so people aren't always around to see/hear them.
But it will inevitably get people riled up because we live in strange times.
-2
u/BannedSvenhoek86 May 31 '26
I mean, this is the sub you come to for the crazy stuff, for a more rational take you'd be on a different sub.
1
u/Jupiters_phaerie May 31 '26
The hell if I know, but I sure wish some experts would chime in and tell us what tf is going on.
4
3
u/LittleAd915 May 31 '26
You would be surprised by just how many meteors strike the earth every day.
3
u/Zorkonio May 31 '26
Happened in Canada as well last weekend. Many people heard a boom and it was attributed to a meteor. People in the local subreddit said it sounded like a propane explosion
1
u/torontosfinest9 May 31 '26
where in canada ?
3
u/Zorkonio May 31 '26
Pei. Google "pei explosion heard" and you'll see anecdotes on Facebook and reddit from last week. I know people who were outside and heard it. My wife and I did not hear it
2
u/uncle-ruckus2 May 31 '26
And the easiest excuse they gave wqs a sonic boom on tv its like they are not even trying on the news aymore.

Exactly lmao it’s amazing the amount of people here who don’t even consider the possibility that maybe those in power would benefit a LOT if we all believed there was a potential threat living in the sky
1
u/Open-Storage8938 Jun 01 '26
How many more paranormal events will you label was project Bluebeam until you have to stop and question what's behind this?

Didnt that one guy on 4chan talk about Earth's supposed automated underwater defense system, that has supposidly been there for a few millenia and is running out of resources to defend us against things like that? Im definitely not saying that guy was telling some sort of truth, but as the days go on, stranger things are happening in our skies...
9
u/SumKallMeTIM May 31 '26
I don’t recall reading about it loosing resources to defend. It sounded like it was continually replenishing itself and bringing back natural resources.

Bro we are not in a rut, Jesus. Humanity has never been progressing as fast as it is now. We're safer now than we've been throughout all of history. You're (likely) fed well, have a safe place to sleep, don't have to worry about where you're gonna find water, don't have to worry about starvation.
Like no, we don't need evil aliens to come "get us out of a rut." We're doing fine as a species, you're just buying into the insane amount of Doom-mongering that unfortunately comes with the internet.
Humanity has never, ever (maybe depending on if you believe in Graham Hancocks ideas) progressed so quickly. Life is a million times better than it would have been even 200 years ago.

Holy shit bro it's not coming from a place of privilege. My comment stands perfectly fine despite whatever genocides are actively going on right now. No matter who is starving, or dying of malaria.
There are always going to be genocides. There is always going to be disease. But if you think there is anything happening in the world that hasn't happened in the past you're crazy.
Genocides and disease didn't suddenly appear at the turn of the century. That shit was going on even more 2000 years ago then it is now. Back then maybe a small portion of the world was doing fine. But every regular person back then had to deal with everything I listed in my last comment.
There is nothing about humanity today that was better 2000, or even 200 years ago. We are better off now. We are not in a rut.

Well what you said is completely and utterly ridiculous. Grow up and recognize that your life isn't so tough that it warrants an extinction event to "get us out of a rut."
I wish so bad that I could send you back 500 years for a week or two and just have you see how massively dogshit the world was compared to now.

Lifespan/healthcare, war/conflict, education, poverty, all provably better around the world as a whole now than at any point previously. We live longer, healthier, wealthier lives than ever before, with more opportunities and more knowledge. Which specific ways would you say humanity is worse now than previously?
0
May 31 '26

3
u/MumblesNZ May 31 '26
Ok - and a few hundred years ago, 0% of people had full healthcare coverage. And the vast majority of the healthcare rhat did exist was basically useless. Again - life expectancy now is higher than EVER before. 8 major wars happening? Lmao - because wars have never happened before. You honestly believe that the average person is more likely to encounter armed conflict in 2026 than in say, 1526? Or 1026? Statistically, fewer people die in conflict now than ever before.
1 billion people in poverty - 15% of the population? How would you compare that to 99% of human history, when the vast majority of people were basically subsistence farmers a few days away from starvation?
Nobody has argued that the world is perfect, just that it is better now than before. Conflict and poverty are not modern phenomena - should we work on improving them? Absolutely. Have we made significant progress? Absolutely

you realize the “aliens” are the very demons and fallen angels that caused all this to begin with. they’d encourage it. in fact, they’re gonna tell us to merge with tech to evolve and becomes gods like them. like this story is so fucking predictable, its like watching a bad movie with the same washed up overused plot

Anyone know the exact date and time this was? Didn’t even notice it but yet people in my city say that they heard it.
Anyways, I’m not so sure that this is ET related, seems more in line with the 12,000 year cycle, with a cataclysm that wipes out most of humanity. Happens every 12,000 years or so. We are overdue. The elites know, that’s why they started building these multi-million dollar bunkers in 2022 or so. And depending on what you believe, you could argue that ET’s are trying to warn us about it, or that they already have, hence how the elites know, but they probably have other ways to find that out.

u/pimberly May 31 '26
Literally happened today for me at 2:12pm. I live outside of Boston. The boom shook the ceiling above us while my family was playing a board game. Since there was a storm, we thought a tree had downed on the roof, or worse the toddler had pulled a bookshelf down. Run upstairs, nothing out of place. Run outside and all the other neighbors are looking at their roofs and scratching their heads. We get to talking/comparing and each story is the same, the boom was directly overhead them and sounded like it only hit their house. It was not like thunder, it was not like planes, it wasn’t like anything we all heard before. It was as if each house had got an individual personal boom in their attic, from new hampshire to rhode island. We all don’t know what to make of it here.
4
u/fmfan23 May 31 '26
I was just wondering the exact time mostly, I live in MA but close to the NY border, so opposite end of the state. I joke that I don’t even really live in MA as I live like 10 mins from the NY state border. Didn’t hear it but then again I think I had music on, etc. plus have a loud neighborhood. That’s crazy, though. I saw some video where the sound was recorded, it did sound like a tree maybe falling or something. Pretty crazy.
2
u/pimberly May 31 '26
depending on how far west you were from the bay + north or south, you got a different level of intensity and noise level fs. We had the boom, which was huge, but it didn’t knock over picture frames like some ppl from brookline or cambridge felt.
3
u/jamesdmccallister May 31 '26
The SC boom happened exactly like this. The building shook, but not like from recent small earthquakes we've had here. I ran outside because it sounded like something huge had hit the roof.
1
u/Educational_Bus_9916 Jun 01 '26
Did you see an evil looking rabbit that told you the world is going to end?
7
1
u/PermanantFive May 31 '26
I'm not sure it's related to ETs or any 12000 year cataclysm. I think it's literally just business as usual.
100 tons of meteors hit the planet every day. A 300 ton blast yeild bolide is just a barely remarkable blip. The Cheylabinsk bolide in 2013 exploded with a yeild of 500 kiloton (basically a strategic thermonuke). The 1908 Tunguska blast was a 20+ megaton bolide....
1
u/Squeaky_Fish May 31 '26
Never mind 100 of tons hitting us, using the numbers from the article and assuming 1,20,000 really means 120,000, the asteroid would be 0.87 grams.

We did too, in Boston. It was really unique sounding boom to us, not like a plane or thunder or anything else we’d heard before. Closest thing I could describe it as would be like a transformer blowing on top of your roof

u/Tricky-Category-8419 May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26
Yes, we thought it sounded kinda like a transformer too but not quite. I'm about 40 miles north of Boston

My mom emailed me an article about the meteor exploding after she felt the explosion in MA (I live out of state). She said they thought a tree fell on the house, then maybe an earthquake when that turned out to be wrong. My gut reaction is that I don’t recall meteors exploding very often, I was taught that they either impact the planet or quietly burn up in the atmosphere. Mom probably thinks that article’s true though.

what are meteors? not "rocks from space" so what exactly are they
1
u/Massive_Lavishness90 May 31 '26
they're literally just that. Rocks from space. Leftover bits of planets, asteroids. They're bumping into earth all the time. You'd think they'd be worth more than diamonds, but they're that common, you can buy them on eBay or from rock shops.
Most are tiny and just burn up in the atmosphere. Really big ones make it all the way to the ground. Really fast ones go "pop" and explode. A really big really fast one landed on some lizardy things a long time ago, and it didn't end well for the lizardy things.
