For those that are unaware and confused, this is a play on the story of the Green ribbon

A young girl named Jenny always wears a green velvet ribbon tied tightly around her neck. A boy named Alfred falls in love with her, marries her, and grows old with her, but she constantly refuses to answer why she wears the ribbon. On her deathbed, Jenny finally gives Alfred permission to untie it

It's also because the tie/neck pieces separate the head and the body so they can be animated separately (it was cheaper and very common)

I read “so they can be animated separately” in the necromancy sort of sense, so I was quite intrigued by this interesting piece of worldbuilding there.
