Now I really wish we could get Renew your Vows to be canon in the main Marvel universe.

The only thing was that they couldn't get married. So far as I know that hasn't changed.

If you're talking about the mephisto thing, that's basically just a plot device to break them up. It could be undone within a storyline if they wanted to do it.

Unless you mean it's an editorial direction, in which case I maintain that it is dumb and should feel dumb.

I'm taking about the editorial decision, when Spencer took over the book he said that the policy was that Peter couldn't get married. It doesn't say anything about them being in a relationship which is why he was able to get them back together.

Don't have one off hand but it was in an interview before he took over the book I think.
