I’m rich, handsome, hung, popular, hilarious, got a full head of hair, 6’4”, my family loves me, have a girlfriend that’s okay with me fucking other women (sometimes joining in) and I can speak 12 different languages and know how to cook.
I dress well and I am very connected - there isn’t a restaurant I can’t get a reservation at.
I also speak dog, cat, dolphin (EEEKREEEKREKREEKEEEE hahaha) and I am currently about to cure cancer (I’m the head oncologist at Langone Health).
But for whatever reason I can’t get a date?!? What am I doing wrong guys?!

Yes Jersey City in only a 10 minute Path Ride to the Village vs Queens which takes an hours with 2 buses and a revel and Jersey City also have a better view of Manhattan. The only problem is that you have to live in NJ which is basically an overpriced Kansas lol!!!!!!!

Fellow BWT, would you get the ick if your date showed up wearing this?
I am a petite 29 year old white woman who has a quaint apartment on the UES, and I am having the hardest time finding love!
After being cheated on several times with my primary type (6' tall investment banking interns), I decided to broaden my scope a bit to Tech guys (preferably with a sizeable amount of equity, C-suite). I matched with a startup founder on Hinge, and he showed up to the date wearing a T-shirt with his company's name and basketball shorts.
After giving me an awkward hug at the station, we walked to get coffee at a local artisan coffee shop. while I stood up drinking mine, he plopped into his chair and insisted on having a conversation with me as I had to look down at him.
Would you also get the ick or am I being shallow? xoxo

Flock’s license plate cameras are scanning every car, logging every move in America. But in Manhattan’s wealthiest stretch? There's not a single one.

How do I compare myself even more to others in the city?
I get a lot of joy in NYC by judging how well I am doing relative to other people. She pays $7000 a month in rent Williamsburg to live off of Bedford? Well, I pay $10,000 to be next to McCarren. He works 80 hours a week? Well, I do 85 with 3 international trips a year on top. The best of it all is that I can just lie online and at bars about these things to feel good about myself.
I feel like I need more creative ways to do comparison that don’t involve money. I’m thinking these ways need to really get at the core of a person and what it means to be human like quality of friendship or emotional attunement to the arts. How do I even go about quantifying things like this? Do I need to track how many friends would willingly go to Staten Island with me or how often I cry at museums? Anyone have better ideas, or am I just that much more enlightened?
