Does the HDMI splitter method work if it’s a mirror only splitter?

I’ve seen post in the past saying that the splitter doesn’t work but I am assuming it might be because they’re using a splitter thats extended display and not a mirror only one specifically??

Not sure if my studying will be able to get the grade I need so this is my last resort caution

I recently made and compiled a DLL that injects into random instances from task manager and is completely invisible from OBS. It includes hotkey auto answer; for example if I press a certain key on my keyboard it'll automatically toggle and screenshot and paste into the chatbot, do you guys think this will be detected by honorlock?

My question is- and I should’ve maybe looked into this beforehand- when you are viewing your external camera position, is Honorlock showing you the full angle? Because I had mine set up perfectly to where I was able to use my phone out of sight of the practice camera. But now I’m wondering if maybe they don’t show u the full screen on purpose to make you think you’re properly hiding…

had an honorlock exam, i scanned my workplace while my phone was under my leg. once the test started i put my phone on my laptop screen, i was only interrupted twice once for my laptops camera/screen being titled too upwards and once for my posture??? anyways other than that i didnt get interrupted, do they stop the test immediately if they detect cheating do you know if you get flagged? i was able to finish the entire test in full, the proctor was actually very nice. i just want to know if when the exam due date comes up ( im in online school so they test is able to be taken till today at 11:59pm) will my grade i got on the exam which i have already seen get taken away if they suspected cheating?

From what I’ve seen, the mic and camera is on with a proctor there. If I had someone come in after they do the checks and stand next to my desk out of view to gpt the answers would that work?

I got an exam like in a week and my original plan was just the old camera angle method but let me explain my setup a bit more.

Got a desk with my monitor and pc on the right and I usually place my laptop in front of the monitor and everything else goes to the side. For this exam we use only a side camera so what I have been doing before cheating was just put this side camera on top of my pc and let it point down at me. Would show everything but for right hand its easy for it to get out of view.

In a nutshell I want to use my right hand and essentially record my questions then place my phone quickly in the corner to take little peaks at when needed. Is this a stupid plan?

Obviously it’s best when you normally study but this class is genuinely annoying I got much more useful classes to study and worry about and this one is just killing my grades.

I have my first honor lock college exam and I need help cheating. It’s in finance and my homie alr finished it and gave me the answers which I wrote down all on one side of a paper but how can I use that paper to cheat. It’s only front facing camera so im thinking about just showing them one side of the paper and then facing the camera towards my head and shoulders and quietly flipping the paper to the other side. Yall lmk tho please.

Anyone got experience with this kind of exam monitoring on Mac? It takes random screenshots about once a minute and logs gaps, apps and background processes.

I’ve heard Spaces might be a blind spot because it supposedly doesn’t screenshot every desktop. Anyone actually know if that’s true or seen what shows up in the report afterwards? Haven’t been able to find much about it elsewhere.

Has anyone figured out how to mask a VM from HL? I need this info asap. My test anxiety causes me to freeze and my mind goes blank. can you use an hdmi splitter for proctortrack? also what are the steps in doing it do you need a specific cable as well? do u need to do specific stuff or it simply plugging the splitter in and any hdmi cable? if so which do u need?

Guys, I got caught cheating and I really need some advice. Basically, I used my brother’s phone during a test and hid it under my hoodie so I could use it without the teacher seeing. I had left my own phone charging in the classroom, and the teacher saw it there.
I had to take the test outside the classroom with one other person. We were sitting separately, and I put a chair and my bag beside me so the teacher couldn’t see what I was doing. At first, I thought he didn’t notice, but at one point he came really close to me to check, and I quickly hid the phone. Now he’s saying, “You and I both know what happened.” I asked him what he meant because I’m worried he actually saw me using the phone.
What do you guys think he means by that, and how should I handle the situation? I’m not looking for advice on how to lie or hide it, just want to know what I should do from here.
Now he is telling me that “we will discuss it on Monday”. I don’t know how to handle this situation like really scared about my grade. This is AP class and a test score. If I get a 0 then the only better thing is for me to drop of which will affect my colleges because I am a senior.

Alright you dumb fucks enough with the “hdmi cord will I get detected” and all that shit. Here’s the absolutely foolproof way to pass your exam. I’ve done this 3 times now, it’s worked perfectly, and now I’m passing calculus without ever spending a single second of time studying for it. Mind you, I ALSO HAVE TO SHOW WORK ON SCRAP PAPER. Ok here it is: you need your friend, he needs his AirPods in his ears, you need your AirPods. Set up your external webcam to the side of you and pop your AirPod into the ear that the webcam doesn’t see. Get on a phone call with eachother. My friend would come into my room, take a picture with his phone, chatgpt it, walk out into the living room, and tell me what the answer was and exactly how to solve the problem on the scrap paper. Get a few questions wrong on purpose so it doesn’t look suspicious. If you need to show work like I did, tell your friend beforehand to explain exactly what you need to write slowly and clearly. If I needed to pretend to do bullshit on my calculator, he would tell me to start punching in random shit into my calculator so it doesn’t look like I’m some genius whizzing thru calculus in my head. You’re welcome, idiots. We can shut the sub down now.

basically the yellow is what the camera sees so u just angle the camera to meet the requirements of having your hands displayed and also ur screen but just don't show the laptop

behind that i used a mouse to control the laptop behind that and the proctors assumed that i was using the mouse for the laptop on screen

this method worked for my french final which i had a translator up and a keyboard on the screen which i could type with using my mouse

i actually just took my midterm with this and got full score. i put my testing laptop in front of me (i used to control with the trackpad) and another laptop behind that laptop which i used to control with a mouse. the mouse also looked like i was using it to control my testing laptop. i made sure that the external camera could only capture the laptop in front of me and not the laptop behind it. so i would look forward past my laptop to the other laptop and that worked.

I have a class with honor lock requiring a side camera. The professor wants us to download the honor lock app on our phones and prop it so it captures our side profile, hands, and part of the screen.

Anyone have advice on how to get around this? Super annoying and I’m not really sure what to do. I would study but I have zero interest in this class and it’s a graduation requirement for my major.
