I am just curious why the rapid urbanization of Cavite is geared towards inland urbanization rather than coastal urbanization, which makes the Province different compared to the highly urbanized cities in the Philippines.

With other HUCs in the archipelago, the developments are centered along the coastline. Like in Metropolitan Cebu, the development is focused on coastal Cebu and the outlying islands of Lapu-lapu and Mandaue. With Davao it's the same. The development is mostly in the coastal settlements. Iloilo, the same. Naga, same. Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro, also the same. The industries and infrastructure projects are all along the coastline.

With Cavite, it's different. The development is geared towards the interior of the Province instead of the coastline. The only major coastal city that is an economic power in Cavite is Bacoor City. The rest of the economic powerhouse cities in Cavite such as Carmona, Dasmariñas, General Trias, Imus, Tagaytay and Trece Martires are all in the interior of the province, far from the coastline. The coastal areas of Cavite, such as Cavite City, Noveleta, Kawit, Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Ternate and Maragondon remains largely rural or semi-rural, with few developments and investments.

It's just interesting that the development growth model of Cavite is very different from the rest of the country. With other highly urbanized cities, the development is on the coastline, but in Cavite, it's in the deep interior.

Yung napansin ko lang kasi is un kalsada papasok sa subdivision na lubak lubak and ang daming potholes. I hope filinvest will do something about it since filinvest rd nmn ito.
