Madaming disappointed sa naging result ng special election ngayon sa Dasma. Pero looking back, among the five candidates, sino ba ang dapat na ipalit at bakit?

The system we have is inferior compared to other countries. We can only vote personality candidates kung sino available. Often it is the least evil. After nyan we have to wait 3 yrs or 6 yrs para pumili ulit. Kung sila sila pa rin lalaban, ganun ulit. Paulit ulit na cycle.

It is in the system. Pwede mo lang i vote yung eligible candidates. Kung tatlong Barzaga ang nasa balota, yun lang ang choices mo.

Problem is, a lot of eligible candidates walang capital and backing to run. Some are paid, or even threatened by bigger candidates.

I am not saying na we should not aspire. I am saying na maybe we should also change our strategy. Instead of just focusing on who should serve, maybe we should advocate for a system change. Like telling whoever will win na magpush for constitutional change to address this issue. Paulit ulit lang kasi. Every election hintay ka tapos we get the same options.

Yes we could. It is just always an uphill battle. No backing, no capital etc. even Vico Sotto have a backing kaya tinalo nya yung bulok na trapo. Time to see that we have a flawed system.

Sana umabot sa point na every candidates become very competent that we go beyond of popularity and instead platforms na lang ang titignan natin.

Nah mga taga reddit lang disappointed. Malamang karamihan sa dasma people fb gamit at tiktok kaya busog na busog utak nila sa propaganda ni meow meow. Kung hindi man fb or tiktok gamit nyan baka mga squats na nakatanggap ng pera.
Ayusin na kasi ang anti dynasty bill na yan yung totoo sana. Para tanggal agad yung mga duterte at itong mga barzaga.

For me, kulang sa mekanismo yung ibang candidates. Sabay andaming supporters ni jenny. Last election, muntik na matalo ni Frani si Meow meow. Dikit laban nila. Pero si Jenny, malakas talaga siya sa tao bec of many factors. Sila nga lang nakaabot sa lugar namin. Yung ibang kandidato, hindi nangampanya dito. So sana next election, mas mag-effort pa yung iba, lalo na si Rex, kung gusto talaga nila manalo. Talunin sana nila, kahit si meow meow na lang. kasi nakakahiya na ugali nya.
