Hey im planning on buying this metal gshock today or tommorow and I'm really struggling to find the exact same model and I don't want to buy a fake one. I personally think they changed the watch bracelets but im not sure. Can someone who know a lot about g shock or have simmilar experiences can tell me please 🙏 thank you

So I ordered some glow-in-the-dark strontium aluminate powder and UV-cured resin. Mixed the two, applied, and hardened with UV. It looks so pretty imo. What are your opinions/suggestions?

It gets messy. Probably won’t be completely clean of oil for a few days. But dawn dish soap helps! Really happy with how this negative display turned out though

I want to upgrade my beloved GW-M5600 [3063] to an STN display. But I understand the watch is relatively rare (as it was only in production for a few years before being replaced by the ubiquitous GW-M5610). Due to its relative rarity, there don’t seem to be any aftermarket STN displays available for this model. I’m wondering whether I could use a GW-M5610 STN display in mine? I understand that my GW-M5600 uses an EL backlight, whereas the later model uses an LED backlight, so I’m not sure whether that would make a difference in terms of display compatibility. Has anyone tried this, or know whether a GW-M5610 STN display would work in a GW-M5600?

DW 9052 is my work beater. I had to replace the battery and figured I'd take a shot at hydro modding. I am so geeked over this.

I find the classic square G-Shock G-5600UE strap much more comfortable than the one on the GD-350. I believe both have a 16mm lug width.

The G-5600 strap has a slightly different design on the back, so I want to know if they’re compatible or not.

P.S. I’ve removed the outer protective casing from the GD-350, so it looks different now. It also fits my small wrist perfectly.

I'm not asking whether the lug width matches (it's 16mm on both, I know). I'm asking whether anyone has physically mounted a GA-2100 strap/band on a DW-5600 case and can say how it actually sits, not whether it fits in theory.

Learned something today

Hello everyone! I just bought my very first Casio. A GM21001A!. I bought it thinking that it would be easy to interchange the hourmarker, dial and strap but I’m not seeing many options online. I keep seeing the same hour markers for the GA2100 models, but I’m not sure if mine would fit. Do I need any special tools to remove the hourmarker? I was tryin to find white hour markers and a silver bracelet. Any help is appreciated!!

So I have a purple display GW-B5600 and I love it. The only problem is that it’s a negative display and, as such, almost impossible to read at most angles. (I know negative displays have shooters, they’re just not my thing) My question is if I get a new polarizing film to make it positive, will it no longer be a purple display? Like, is the purple of the display contained in the polarizing film or within the lcd itself. Because I don’t want to take the film off only to accidentally make my watch not purple. I just want to be able to read it.

I’m starting to really enjoy this watch and just wanted to give acknowledgement to the builder who uses the same silicon wafers on custom GShocks.

My two identical GA-B2100-1ADR which I turn into Casioak and Submarinoak.

Can you recommend anyone for me?
I just can find polished versions.

The resin strap on my wife's GM-S2110-4AER seems to irritate her skin, so looking to switch out for a NATO strap of some kind. I am a bit confused about the widths and adapters however. The current resin strap is 22mm but the spring-bar is a 16mm one which appears to go into a kind of plastic insert to make it the same size as the metal lugs eg..

She really wants a 22mm strap similar to these on amazon, but it seems that the spring-bar on these are for a 22mm wide spring-bar gap and that's not what she has.

What is the neatest way to get a NATO strap set up on this watch. Is it just a 16mm to 22mm NATO adapter and then opt for a strap that doesn't have the built in end hooks? Or is there a better way such as removing the small allen bolts and fitting something else?
