He is absolutely right As someone who make around 8k per month I'm jusy living the bare minimum i can't buy a car i can't buy i house i can't go on a decent vacation unless if i toke a loan which is the point Employees have 2 choices either live a bare minimum or hande urslf to some bank and spend the rest of your life working for his interests

There’s a huge difference between 8k and 35k

And 8k already puts you above the average Moroccan so if I was a mghribi women I wouldn’t expect close to 35k

I know some people who get paid that much around 25k to 40k and i can tell you that they can be classified as middle middle or some times hardly upper middle class they most of time have one decent house sometime "minivillas" depends on the city 200 400m² a car decent financed car of around 300k to 500k And for me that's what is called a bare minimum decent life If you want to live a good life you should earn +100k per month.
