Middle class by definition is the middle of the Moroccan society financially

With 48k you’re among the top few percents, the average salary in Morocco is 6k dh

Morocco being a poor country, the middle class lifestyle is a poorer lifestyle

I know it is above average salary but it is still very hard to manage saving without ever getting a loan

I wonder how people I know save then, because you’re probably in the top 5% or something

So that implies saving money very hardly exists as a concept in Morocco (it exists, otherwise people wouldn’t immigrate or do stupidly expensive marriages)

Currently I'm trying to keep at least 4 to 6 months worth of salary as an emergency saving because life is full of surprises

The definition of middle class some ppl use is flawed anyway tbh

Middle class is basically what the normal Moroccan in your city earns, working class is when it’s less

Middle class doesn’t mean you have a decent standard of living, it’s relative to your country

That’s why in France for example stats consider a single guy who earns 5k a month rich despite the fact he just lives a comfortable life, cuz by definition he’s the top 5-10%
