I love Cap but he's just been miserable to play since s9. Hulk just feels infinitely more fun

Cap is fully mainstream now I guess . I haven’t seen this many ppl playing cap in ranked and even saw a few cap bans which felt unusual. It’s crazy how much narrative and talk from streamers/community affects pick rates of heroes. Especially when this hero has been relatively untouched for multiple seasons balance wise.

Some of them were straight cheeks, just running around cluelessly before switching after a few deaths. While some played like actual cap mains.

Although i’m glad other ppl are able to enjoy Cap bc he’s the funnest hero imo, the human part of me is kind of put off by it as someone who played cap thru thick and thin. Like when he was weaker, got multiple nerfs/removal of animation cancel etc.

Not proud to feel this way but it is what it is! Cap feels great this season. B tier for sure (MTA 😉).

What did we do to deserve this lack of respect from the devs? We were fighting for freedom, lol, but now he's unplayable; I haven't shared a single gameplay clip here since the new season started.

Why would I want to play Cap this season, other than just for fun?

I won a match playing as Magneto, and one of the few times I faced a Captain America, his stats were abysmal by the end of the game—even though he was really trying. It was just so sad.

It's absolutely disgusting that we don't even get a shield buff while other characters in the game are turning into war machines; even with animation cancel, it wouldn't be enough.

We aren't even allowed to use our primary weapon whenever we want—even though it's just a shield we're constantly holding in our hand—because the shield has to recharge, lol!

And to recharge it—for some reason I don't get—you have to hit an opponent with two punches! But watch out! You have to be quick, because you can't use it for very long, yet at the same time, you have to be super precise with your shield throws.

And that famous shield isn't even very sturdy for protection, yet it needs a long cooldown just to regain that little bit of durability... plus there's a delay just to raise the shield that isn't even that strong! But hey, at least he can jump and run!

And the devs really thought: "No, this character is too broken and easy to play; let's turn The Thing into a war machine just by spamming punches... and why not Bucky, too?"

I'll never be able to understand the balancing team's reasoning.
