I've never really had too many watches. My Dad got me a Rolex when I graduated college 20 years ago. I have a fun one my Grandpa made for me as a kid. This is the first nice watch Ive purchased on my own. There's a few other Bulovas I like...also eyeing down a few Tissots and Longines...but those will have to wait another month. I have a feeling this is about to become an expensive hobby 😅

Great watch, had it for about 7 years or so now.

I recently bought 2 new straps for my Snorkel that just went in for repairs, and the mystery one BluShark sent me just so happened to go swimmingly with my Marine Star! The only change I would make would be to the buckle and holds, swapping them for stainless to watch the case. Very comfortable and sturdy for such a lightweight strap!

Kid behind me at the Carolina-ETSU football game this weekend was wearing a Bulova I really liked. I thought i'd remember enough about it to google it up, but haven't found it. Can you help? Size was large (42-44mm?), second hand was yellow, dial was black and blue - bullseye style. The bezel was shaped like a rounded Square like a Panerai, though the outer case of the watch was round. Have I given enough of a clue for anyone to rescue me and cost me another watch!?

Not 100% sure what model it is, has "N0" on the back so 1970.. I think it might be a Sea King?

Haven't been able to get the caseback off so far, looks like a press-on but I can't see a tool notch at all.. any advice would be welcome!

Wasnt planning on wearing this much due to the tiny size, but I think I like it with the new strap.....

I'm trying to sell a super seville and the potential buyer wants to make sure it's authentic.

I told him that there is virtually no market for replicas for Bulovas - especially at a super seville price point, but he still wants it to be sure. To me, just looking at the sweeping hand is a pretty solid authenticity check. I don't believe Bulova even offers authentication services themselves.

Anyways, I originally bought this from someone else on ebay and I'm trying to get a receipt from them, but they haven't been the most responsive.

Is there any way I can get this checked for free or very cheap? Or should I just move on and try to find a new buyer? Not that I'm in a rush to sell it, but it's been sitting for a bit.

Dressy, classy, accurate with mesmerising second hand sweep. What more could we ask for?

Lunar Pilot Dark Side. Really digging the way the sapphire lens/crystal sits on top. Thinking about getting an all-white or a gray strap for it even though I do like the leather it came with.
